Come on ppl...please help me choose a motherboard...thats the only thing holding me back from upgrading my rig :(squall_nemesis

ok what parts do you have currently and what parts are you going to upgrade. Also what is the total budget for the upgrade. And outside temps shouldn't matter for a PC, as long as the inside is ~76 or less your comp should be fine with an after market heatsink and a couple of case fans.

I also intend to build my own case . . . eventually. Literally the only pre-fabricated option is this, otherwise you'll have to get the cages out of an old case.kodex1717

Thanks a bunch I was hoping someone on here would link me to something like that :) much love kodex, I will post here when my extensive mod is finished

Whilst ordering some parts for the next part of my mod I realized that I had not thought threw how to mount my 5.25 drive. I could allways cuz some out of one of my old cases but I would rather not.

I have 76GB of music and about a 1TB of movies and I have found that as long as the music and movies etc are not on your OS hardrive that has your installed programs, like word, etc. that the comp speeds should be fine, just defrag and do your virus stuff etc. and your comp will run fast, also for me my comp was trying to have programs running in the background so that when i clicked on the icon that they wouls launch faster. once i turned this off i found out that my comp ran like twice as fast

It doesn't matter how dirty your room is cuz the cleanness(new word lol) of your build makes up for it.:) I hate when people leave all the wires and crap hanging, it just show laziness and a lack of passion in my mind.
