I would rather have a "True Quad Core Processor" from amd, which has no FSB, it must be good because intel is trying to copy them with the nahelem or whatever it's called, In my opinion the only reason the intel had the advantage is because of their 45nm tech advantage, which the seem to value for $1000, but for some reason when amd has the true quad core intel goes after that tech immediately, so they must some how be admitting the loss, yet pretty much all of their quad cores are more expensive then the best amd, I wonder how much the nahelem will sell for when it comes out, probably billions, and they can go sell it to dell to get the millions of dollars they need to research better technology. Every where I read reviews and articles on cpu's, they say that right now clock speeds aren't important as the used to be, and thats because AMD's obsoleition of FSB. Sure when intel catches up into that crowd, speed is going to be a big issue, but I'd rather stick with amd, because it's motherboards aren't going to be costing sky high because the demand for mother boards with no fsb, as if intels processors aren't expensive enough as it is.Mike42notO

To push you off head off its pedestal, for someone with 2 weeks xp you sure know alot! Also AMD quads make no sense, when there are better intel quads availible for cheap. You could make an argument that for cheap processors amd is better but for a quality proscessor buy intel. Also atm AMD/ATI has great grafix cards and you would be smart to buy a crossfire board like the

GIGABYTE GA-X48-DQ6 LGA 775 Intel X48 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128331

$285~~~

and intel costs more because it performs better. AMD= Toyota Prius Intel=BMW way expensive intel = Ferrari

i just went from the G15 to a Razer Lycosa and the :ycosa is so much better, yeh it doesnt have a screen but its better for typing and it looks better IMO and also its got that mad touch sensictive media pad.

the G15 is a great keyboard, but i only used teh screen a couple of times for checking my temps, but who going to look down at a screen on there keyboard when you can display the info on the screen

im using the Lycosa now, the keys feel really good and the lighting is just as good as teh G15, still havent tried in theh dark tho,

oh, and the DeathAdder is a mad mouse!

Lehman

If I didn't allready own a logitech G15 then i would have gotten a razer IMO the keys feel better, plus with my G15 a screw was loose and it took me like 1 hour of pulling the keyboard apart to find the damn rattling noise.

Well you know how Vodka is like impossible to freeze. Why not use it for coolant in a water cooling system? Would there be any Adverse Affects? Also cuz alcohol is a disenfectant wouldn't the tubing remain clean and bacteria free?

Let me know what you think.

And also if I try this I am totaly using my dremel to etch the brand of vodka on my case lol

I love the screen in the G15. The color is cool, but blue is always better. For the screen, I mostly use it for vent, to see who's speaking, and for itunes. When music is playing, it tells you what is playing, how long its playing for, how much time is left, and it lets you pause, stop, go to next song and change volume. Its nice to not have to minimize the screen to select a new song. Its also nice to adjust volume on the keyboard, I hate using the volume knob (its very senitive for my speakers).

G11 is a better price, with more macros though. So it just comes down to if you want the screen. It can do so much with all the extra user created content. You can alos monitor your CPU, RAM, graphics card temeratures too! I reccomend the g15 over the g11 because I love the screen.

How many Macros does the G11 have cuz my G15 has a flip lcd and at least 36 macro's if not more, I forget lol cuz i am on my laptop.

looks good, and another mobo option would be a

GIGABYTE GA-X48-DQ6 LGA 775 Intel X48 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

I like it because it has 8 sata inputs and the layout is such that most people have no problems with parts getting to close or touching each other.

I use the screen A LOT. Not sure what the other guy was saying, I always have my temps, ram usage, cpu usage, WoW stats, etc running.Munkyman587

Same here as a Hunter on WoW it helps with ammo and stuff, plus there are other wow related things, also I can turn my screen off and use it to surf music. etc.

IDK much about the G11 but the G15 is ginormous and I have to carry it to all my lans seperately lol

IDK if he decides to upgrade to Nethalem I think DDR3 prices will have significantly fallen and so geting the DDR2 now would be better especially with the 3 channel stuff, just my opinion though

Your rig is a super sayian 8.5/10

I'd say 7 only cuz I can't see your cable management and i happen not to like kingston ram cuz I had a set die on me recently, then again it was oldish but still, that why a 7 not a 6 or 8.
