I love the "I don't care about it so no one else cares or it shouldn't matter" mentality.

@crimson_v: nintendo have the source code and could compile the game for the switch natevily with some core code changes to the engine.

Some dev says this every generation since the SNES. Until streaming offers next to no latency controls, 4k resolution at 60fps with full HDR support, I can't see game streaming becoming the default anytime soon.

Why don't MS just delay it as a launch title for the Xbox Two 720 ?

By time that game comes out, it will be like Duke Nukem Forever, where the graphics look too old, the gameplay is outdated, and no one will care.

Lol America... blood and violence is fine but boobies is a big no go!

This. I'll never understand why the natural body nakedness is taboo, but cutting someones head in two and watching their eyes look around in terror as their brain falls out of their skull is ok for everyone to witness.

If they announced the PS5 and that it was releasing this year... MS would win.

I have a PC which is far more useful, and capable for me ATM.

This... except that PC doesn't get RDR2, so for that game, the X is the king console to play it on.

If next gen VR is strong enough, Valve may try to make a full AAA game for it, perhaps the infamous vaporware HL3 since that alone would force people to buy their VR system if it came out only in VR. Best never to get your hopes up though. I doubt it could even live up to the hype if they did make it at some point. Think Duke Nukem Forever.

I enjoyed 1 and 2 but both were seriously flawed games. I liked the concept of the first one, but couldn't quite grasp the story as to 'why' war was bad/accidentally called upon. Also, the gameplay was really inconsistent, like the devs didn't know what direction to take the level design in. It got a lot more fun once you unlocked Ruin (the horse), but you'd have some dungeons that were like zelda with good design, and others that were straight forward with no interesting aspects to them.

Then the second one came out and I was glad to see the changes they made. More consistent level design, better fighting mechanics, world design was pretty good for it's time. Then as I played through it I found that the world was literally 99% empty, with so few enemies and large empty spaces to walk through unchallenged. Everything felt fairly linear for an open-world concept. I really wanted to like it more, but it was very average.

This one, I'll wait and see. If the reviews say it's good, i'll get it, if not, i'll pick it up from the cheap bin years later (not like it hasn't been years already since the last one).
