@Albaficas You can thank the developers for refusing to work with Nintendo...which is why it has the lack of 3rd party support recently.

I think its funny that people think Nintendo doesn't care about the core gaming...when its the developers who choose not to support the console when Nintendo ask's them, while trashing it in the process. Nintendo does care about the casual market....but it also cares about the Hardcore Gamers (There have been quite a few Rated M games on every Nintendo Console since the rating system was first created), its just developers not giving them the chance which in turns makes simple minded gamers think Nintendo doesn't care for some reason.

So we wont be getting a remake of Final Fantasy 7 at all then. Which is a shame. Because a remake of Final Fantasy 7 would have netted Square MILLIONS of dollars just on the name "Final Fantasy VII" alone. To be honest. I'm surprised Square is still even around. I lost all interest in Final Fantasy after playing the garbage known as Final Fantasy 12. Final Fantasy 13 was garbage. Final Fantasy 14 was a massive failure. Final Fantasy 13-2 sucked and I actually cancelled my preorder on Final Fantasy 13 Versus because Square refuses to even acknowledge the damn game that was announced over 6 years ago.

You can only rely on ONE game franchise for so long anyway. Square has the Tactics Universe....they don't use it.....Square has the Chrono Trigger universe...they refuse to do anything with it because Square said the fans pretty much didnt care for the game and if they wanted a new Chrono game they should buy the first one....even though its fully reasonable that people will refuse to pay for a 4th re-release of the first game on PSN, because they brought it the first three times. once on the SNES, Once on the PS1 and the 3rd on the DS. Square is just a shell of its former self.

Thanks for the best years of my gaming life Square, its a shame you really dont care about the fans anymore and have become stupid because iyou think FInal Fantasy is the only thing fans care about and if anything a remake of Final Fantasy 7 wouldn't be the end of Final Fantasy....all of your loyal fans would have brought it and given you the money needed through sales to continue to grow and create better games.
