Your TV's input settings for the PS3 input might be off. Always use a calibration disc to get brightness, contrast, color, etc., to their ideals. No idea how to do this???

I'm thinking it could be the TV but everything else is fine on it. TV shows and games, they're all OK. Casino Royale is the first blu ray I've watched. Just hoping it may be the movie.
I have it set to custom too. When you say have the HDMI set to auto, is that on the PS3? cause if I do that the picture turns a bright pink and green. I have to have it on RGB. Any ideas why it does that?
Thanks for getting back to me. Think I will buy another HDMI cable. Paid a lot of money for this one though and it's suppose to be a really good one, best of the best, supposedly. The colours on the HDTV are fine.
I got Casino Royale on blu ray today and watched it. It looks amazing, there's one problem though and I'm hoping it can be fixed. The picture is very off colour, sort of yellowy, the complexions on the faces look off if you know what I mean. In short the colouring is off. Why is it like this and anyone else having problems? My PS3 is connected to my HDTV via HDMI. Could it be the HDMI? When selecting HDMI video output (or something like that) on the PS3, there's three options, automatic, RGB and another. The only one that works for me is the RGB one. In the other two the picture is bright pink and green. Any ideas??? Would really appreciate it. Hope I can sort this out.
