You're right, I am probably wrong, but not by much, lets be honest. At least one of us has the balls to admit it, how many times have you been wrong? I've lost count
Either way, that's no where your 2.2 million potential sales, is it?
Hahaha! So number of cores make it more similar? That's the dumbest thing I've read so far today, and I've been reading a lot of your comments.
x86 is a completely different architecture! The Xenon however has three slightly modified Cell PPEs, same IBM architecture, you have lost.
Indeed they tell for themselves, and many times have they praised the 360 over the PS3. They've always complained bout the PS3's lack of graphical horsepower from the RSX and the split RAM pool.
PS3 design is a failure in the sense that it cost Sony so much this generation, games, exclusive developer support, sales and most importantly - money. The 360 on the other hand? Microsoft have only gained.
Well why would they develop a game for a console that is intended to last ten years as Sony proudly try to fool us, wouldn't it get outdated? Makes no sense, unless Polyphony are idiots. Maybe if the PS3's hardware was better conceived, they would've released GT5 earlier..
That's a climb down from the PS2 which is the most popular console of all time. But then does Sony win, even when they lose to you?
I stated a fact that the US is a bigger market than Japan, you got caught out on that and now you're trying to change Japan to Asia, and due to your lack of geographical knowledge, you're now trying to change Asia to the 'yellow race'? Do you see how silly you're being? How does the US not count as a country? Because it's big? Well if we compare China to the US, China has FOUR times the population. Maybe China is not a country anymore either?
Turkey is not an arab country, you're the one who needs to learn.
"Sure, I don't dispute that. It is so since they were much more powerful than PS2 and easier to develop for - sure. EE is more similar in development to P3 than Cell to Xenon, so eat my shorts."
Okay then, explain why EE is closer to a Pentium 3 than the Cell is to the Xenon. *rubs hands*
The reason why Sigma 2 was comparable (although I have to disagree that it looks better than the 360 original) to the original is because most of the development was already done on the 360, they could spend a lot of the time trying to polish the game for the PS3 release. Had they both relesed at the same time, it would probably be the same story as it is most of the time with the 360 version looking better than the PS3 version. Same with Oblivion, with the PS3 version having the edge in some areas despite looking less vibrant and more washed out and jagged and overall less impressive.
Hah! I like how you say I have lost an argument when you yourself have lost the past 25 or so!
Forza 4 > Gran Turismo 5. How is that? Or will you just ignore you're wrong as usual? Oh, Gran Turismo 5 was made with an engine back in 2006? Then that pretty much ruins this whole 'long term plan' behind the PS3 that Sony try to fool people with.
PS3 has lost exclusives and made life a living hell for developers, it's put SCE nearly 5 billion dollars in the red and is one of the reasons why Sony have become financially unstable.
The Emotion Engine isn't anywhere NEAR similar to the x86 Pentium 3 in the Xbox. What the hell are you talking about? No, you probably don't even know yourself. Xbox versions and even GameCube versions of multiplats looked better than the PS2 versions - end of story.
Unless PS3 owners are less skilled than 360 players (which I don't think is the case), why would Sigma 2 have less enemies than the original other than compromises having to be made because of the PS3's hardware? Why would the AI be better on the 360 version compared to the PS3 version? Because PS3 players suck? No, because the PS3's hardware cannot handle it.
I was comparing the two consoles when both of them actually had a lot of exclusives made for them, compare late 2005 and early 2006 360 games to late 2006 and early 2007 PS3 games and the 360 games looked superior. Like I said, Microsoft have stopped supporting the 360 with quality exclusives since then, and there is almost nothing to compare to recent PS3 exclusives. The only series I can think of for Xbox right now is Forza 4 in comparison to Gran Turismo 5, both recent games, both exclusives.
And better design teams make better decisions than others, clearly. Team Ninja had to make more than a few compromises to get NG2 to work on the PS3
The 360 has little in the way of exclusives to compare to the PS3's vast array, truth be told. Microsoft started so well with the 360 but as far as exclusives go they have gotten embarrassing. First generation 360 games generally looked better than first generation PS3 games, that at least can be said. Playing Kameo for the first time was really something. This was back when Microsoft actually cared about exclusives, unlike now.
It's not just about how good the graphics look, it's not that simple. A developer could use all of the system's raw power to render one character model to look breathtaking only to make compromises else where.
Again, look at last generation, most multiplats were developed on the PS2, but the Xbox versions almost always looked better. Why is it any different this time around?
What, you don't think they don't? And since when did we change to consumer electronics, I thought we were talking about the video game market?
Asian market? Since when does Japan represent all of Asia? Asia, by the way, is a continent, it stretches from Turkey to the Phillippines, learn basic geography, most Asians live in poverty. I find it absurd that you're comparing the most populated continent in the world with the US.
