Some solid offerings here. I still vividly remember that long walk in Dead Space where you started to hear.. something.. and it ended up being Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
But why no Evil Within? No Dying Light? No Alan Wake? No Bioshock? Including even two of those titles would have made this a list of 25. Missing them all seems like a whoopsie. At best.
Well, duh, of course there will be mistakes. I bought one, because that's what I do, but it wasn't before I said "Calling the next console 'Series X' is as stooopid as Nintendo calling their next console the WiiU"...
Keep in mind I own all the consoles. I see ZERO reason for exclusives from companies NOT produced in-house. Same for timed-DLC. That's BS that has to go, for the good of gaming.
I think keeping the box the same as current gen is a mistake. I can understand what they are trying to do, but they should learn from how Nintendo failed with the WiiU. Us early adopters will know there's a new console, but after that first 10% bleeding-edge buyers, the masses will see confusion.
Keep in mind I'm buying this and the PS5 at launch, and I play more (90% to 10%) on XBL than on PSN. I just don't like bad strategy in my tech.
I really don't understand how this wasn't released in 4k. It's the only reason to buy physical media right now.
The inclusion of the full series in digital copy helps, if only because it will (potentially) automatically upscale to 4k ownership once it is passed through, but even so... missing the 4k at release is just plain silly.
@redhedjack: You answered your own question/issue with that last sentence. Pick yourself up a 2 GB external, and you would be fine. That's the way I have done it.
