PlyrYaKA Blog

Y'know; Bush and Blair aren't that thick

Everyone is making out that England and America are run by a pair of morons with a load of con artists behind them, enfact I often find myself attacking politics often enough. But they really are smart and they really know what they are doing, it's a shame we find ourselves attacking them all the time

Brokn keybod . . .

I'm fed up with really anal people mailing me informing me I spelt something wrong, it IS NOT my fault, I have a wireless keyboard and it is not as sensitive as I'd like

Somethin old, somethin new

I feel I haven't been pullingmy weight in this fine community of ours so I'm gonna do shoutouts to all my good friends and a bit of housekeeping.

Games are like buses; and no it's not they're filled with old grandmas

About half a month ago I was seriously considering not checking my profile, it wasn't because I was fed up with the blogs, oh no, nor that I was overcome with gaming insanity, but because there was no news, well none for me.
Before Scarface and Bully and Destroy All Humans 2 and Reservoir Dogs ( which turned out to be ****) but every time I logged in I was flooded with updates, and then the wait began . . .
Finally, the news is returning, but hat about after Crackdown and Stranglehold go, it's a long wait till Bad Company and Halo 3 . . .

Say hello to my little friends . . .

Games and Guns. Jack Thompson doesn't like either, and especially not a combination, so  if your reading this Jack, cover your eyes.

My list of games with great guns:

MOH: Allied Assault: Pistols, who likes pistols, well me on this game. Apart from when at long distance you silently empty a mag. into a Nazi's back I'm using the colt 45. to unload into them in buildings. Nothing as satisfying as being charged by 7 german soldiers and just killing all of them with repetetive clicks of the mouse. Except of corse when your using a mounted MG42 to butcher them or, my favourite, jumping into a room of 5 germans and just unloading on them with a shotgun, so satisfying.

Scarface: The World is Yours: Youd have really thought this game would be full of fantastic guns but no, only two; the really light pistol has a lovely sound and is imensley satisfying but the silenced mac 10 out of a car window, bursting the enemies tires and rolling the car, is SO much fun

Gears of War: The chainsaw bayonet rocks ass but I'm a personnel fan of the shotgun, blowing locusts into many fleshy chuncks.

Nightfire (PC): For all it's faults this game was well armed, the Shotgun was fun and sounded brilliant and the assault rifle everyone seems to have after level 3 is so much fun, really fast, tonnes of bullets per mag and with a scope you could literally  use thiss gun for short range, long range and even just wrecking the place.

Goldeneye, Rogue Agent: Yes, this game sucked ass but the arsenal was immense!!!

Duel Jackal pistols; press the trigger and watch as enemies are hit with extreme force and blown away.

Duel P990's: Called something else in the game these babies were resonsible for bathing enemies in lead, just watch as the bullets tore apart not just bad guys, but the entire room you where in, I remember going down the stairs and confronting 4 baad guys, hit the trigger and the next thing I knew I was reloading in front of a load af dead dudes.

Cammando assualt rifle: Blistering firing rate and seriously inaccurate, don't aim, just pull the trigger and someone somewhere will die

Duel Mamba Shotguns: A pair of double barreled murderers, pull the trigger, Boom Boom Boom Boom, people infront of you now peppered  with blood

Duel Tesla's: Electrocute someone with a pair of pin firing nippers, doesn't sound fun, it is

Am I turning into a Microsoft fanboy

As I'm sure you'l;l know I've been a long supporter of Microsoft, well actually that's a lie, I jumped ship when Sony ****ed up!!!! I still remain happy with the Wii, Nintendo's brilliant marketing and breath of fresh air to gaming is admirable, but in every forum I find myself bashing Sony. Why, what kind of sick, perverted mind turns on it's once favourite system. A ****ed off fan who's tired of delays, high prices, bad news every day, lack of exclusives and all round bad marketing

How sweet it is to be popular

It's probably eon's ago for you guys but I've finally got a blog so poular it's attracting members on it's own without me inviting people. Go PlyrYaKA, we gonna party, like it's ya birthday, go yakky, go yakky . . . .

Is size killing progress?

Just scene the fantastic iPhone, gotta get me one of those, but everyone is banging on about it being 1cm think and pocket burstingly wide. Back in the 80's things were huge, but they were developing and now we have perfected we should move on to entirely new innovations. How about a proper voice activated, full broadband speed, web surfing, song playing, video playing, picture viewing, 60gb memory, 1 gig of ram super multimedia machine. Sure it would be huge but in 5 years it will be able to fit into a toddlers pocket, our obsession with small stuff is holding is back, and once we break these boundraies theres no telling were we could go

Damn American timezones!!!!

If it was bad enough either having to stay up till midnight for on the spot us brits don't even get to see C.E.S live unless we happen to be related to nocternal mammals. Damn.
