Do you think that the supreme court has been out of line in their rulings regarding gun rights and corporate spending in elections? Do you think they will/should overrule obamacare thus destroying his greatest achievement so far (in liberal eyes)?

I don't think the court has done anything out of line with the constitution, though there needs to be some serious adjustment in how elections are run ammended into it to prevent corporate buying of elections.

I personally think that Obama has been foolish in attacking the supreme court on national television at the state of the union address in January. Considering the Supreme Court is the single entity that can overrule everything Obama does, and answers to noone, you would think that he would be a little nicer to them.

Such a 180's by Obama is scary. It's almost as if the Israeli PM has alien mind control slugs in his body and once he got a chance for a 1 on 1 meeting with Obama, he "fixed" him

Obama will say whatever he thinks is a good thing to say at the moment, regardless of whether it contradicts what he has said in the past. Thus I place little stock in a comment like that, because everyone knows he will drop Israel faster than he dropped Van Jones if it is in his best interest.

Dude you are sadly mistaken. You say that theUS is incompetent in War and Education? That's laughably wrong. Sure there are bad apples throughout the country, but the VASTLY OVERWHEMLINGmajority of Americans prove you wrong.

And on the War subject, nobody could bring America down even with the two fronts in the Middle East. Nobody.

Ultimas_Blade

War, I disagree. I do think our education system, while better than most countries, could be infinitely more efficient.

Why do you disagree on my statements about War? Who could attack us and what could they successfully take?

On Education, I think our system is okay, but I think it should be run/controlled on the Federal Level rather than State/Local Level.

oh no, i meant i disagreed with the other poster on war, sorry for not clarifying. No one could touch America. I was somewhat agreeing with majwill24 on the education system only because my first 12 yrs in it has equipped me with knowledge that i forgot as soon as my test was over. It needs to work towards more specificity imo instead of all this vague general information they make us learn.

If you think google were to make gaming console do you think it would take over the gaming industry? Not even take over really but to make a video gaming console that would match up to the ones that recently out and stay out for a few years?

I think they could do it, they seem to do it almost any where they step foot on too so why not?

Just looking for some thoughts, think its pretty funny

I'd be too scared they were somehow watching me through it and collecting info on my bedroom poster buying habits.

I have a B.A. in Christian Studies and am working on my Masters of Divinity. I have not yet decided on a concentration for my M.Div. but am leaning towards Theology or Pastoral Ministry.mindstorm
I respect a guy that can keep his faith throughout the educational process. It only took me two years to lose mine.

No matter how incompetent the US maybe in war and education, when it comes to securing its energy needs they do an extremely good job.

While America and Canada share a lot more culturally than America and Mexico, there is no doubt America would rain down bombs on anyone who would attack mexico. Hell, we have defended more distant unrelated countries than that.

majwill24

No doubt that tens of millions of mexicans in the US would protest the US government to take action.

yea no doubt about that. Mexicans and Latinos in general have a lot of voting power here.

When people get high they might think they are invincible and may attack or kills cops when they try to stop them, some weed is grown with illegal drugs when they get pulled over by a cop they could kill them so they don't check their car, if police raid a weed growing house they may get killed, they will still die as they trying to stop other drugs so they should be legal to? You need harsher penalties on weed not legalization.

Communist_Soul

You realize that all those situations you described are immediately avoided by legalizing it?

They are not avoided they will still die just a different drug .

I disagree. I don't think cocaine, meth, and heroine will ever be as popular as pot, which is a hot commodity because of its harmlessness.
