what case have you got at the moment?

also no point getting a new mobo if it takes the kit you have at the moment, if you SLI in the future, change your mobo at that point imo

im assuming she has monitor, keyboard etc? rather than the 470, go for the 460 1gb version. more than enough. and maybe change the cpu to a quad core (also more than enough at the moment) and with the extra bit of cash upgrade your hard drive to a 10,000rpm one which will help with the write speeds when editing and such. tbh that rig is pretty damn good, and just for wow and photoshop it is definitely overkill

i had this same problem with my habu and copperhead. it's fairly common with razers in my experience.

the problem on mine were caused by a thread of the main wires snapping inside the wire casing. to fix it, take apart your mouse, remove a section of the wire plastic covering (about 2cm's in front of the part of the wire that sticks out of the front of the mouse), find the stray wire, wrap it back around the rest of the wire, and electrical tape it back up as tight as you can.

reassemble the mouse and it should work.

i dont believe you guys are debating this... again, its a game and always will have followers and haters, same with any other game.

as for my point of view, i love it, loved the story, the graphics, the ideas behind it, it felt like you were there in my opinion, they got it all right. maybe the combat wasnt quite right but it fits the theme behind the game i think. i thought the feeling like it was a movie was a refreshing break. instead of just go and shoota random koreans like crysis for example, this had a truly compelling story line.

as for people saying the vita chambers were an easy way out and they couldnt just load the game :S what are you fecking stupid? you have the option to load the game if you wish. i went through with only using 1 vita chamber because i didnt like them, i loaded it when i died.

oh and i hated oblivion.

your new one will run it better because in laymans terms you have 4 processors running at 2.6ghz rather than just 1 running at 3.2ghz

i can tell you 95% sure what it is because i had this exact problem.

it sounds like a memory fault on your card which some of the cards had when they were made. its a common problem with the 8800gt and i even had it on 2 cards.

the only way to solve it is to a) RMA it back to where you bought it from and get a new card which will solve the problem or b) just buy a new one :)

you will only have to wait about 1-2 weeks for the RMA. so do that and you will be happy again :)

hope this helped
