It just goes to show how solid gameplay, maps and balance triumphs over realism, graphics, progression system and customisation in regards to the test of time.

I am quite impressed at the quality of F2P games that have come out as of recent and those coming out this year. LoL, TF2,Tribes Ascend and now Planetside 2.

I must get my hands on the PC Gamer April edition for a beta key. Game looks stunning.

Day One DLC

Excessive cut scenes

Stripping control from the player (e.g. forced character movement, limited view)

Health regeneration in multiplayer FPS

Otherwise I am pretty happy with games in general.

[QUOTE="Mazoch"]IMHO Total war: Shogun 2 really needs to be on any list of best looking PC Games.True_Gamer_
And most CPU/GPU demanding 40k troops aint that easy to run.

Especially when you decide to speed it up.

Actually SC:BW (Starcraft Broodwar) has a higher skill cap. I love SC2 (both playing and watching it) but SC:BW definitely deserves that title.

You can wait for GW2 but it may not come out till December or early next year. Personally I would play the WoW trial (or any of the other MMO trials) and maybe even look into the F2P MMO options. It won't cost you a cent to try them, will give you an idea of what you like and kill a decent amount of time while you are at it.

I personally can not wait.

My only worry is if the game will be excessively laggy in WvWvW or large dynamic quests. I am speaking for all us Aussies/SEA people. Worst case scenario I just play D3 :S

Hey, I've recently been searching for an RPG with lush green landscapes, waterfalls, bright and sunny, that kind of thing. SOmething not depressing or moody, just a bright sort of game. (No kids games though).

I've already played-

Kingdoms of Amular

Skyrim

Oh and no MMO's, Thanks for any suggestions :)

HyperWarlock

I would hardly describe Skyrim "lush green" unless you have FXAA injectors and other flora mods installed. If you are patient, you can try Guild Wars 2 when it comes out unless you only want a single player experience.
