@dmblum1799: Anonymity lets them show their true colors I guess. I'm happy with this month. I'm especially excited for a baseball game with all the Braves hype in my area lately!
@Atzenkiller: Baseball is pretty popular in Japan from what I've heard. Europeans might be interested in trying something new. I would try a Cricket game if it was "free" with Plus.
I know several people who haven't played The Last of Us, myself included. I thought Uncharted 3 had too many cutscenes so I skipped it. Looking forward to giving it a chance. I imagine there's lots of Xbox 360 owners that switched to PS4 who forgot about Last of Us. This gives them a chance to play it and get hyped for the new game.
Also if I bought both of these games new I'd be paying about $45. That's pretty good. Were you expecting Borderlands 3? That's just unrealistic.
I stopped going there about 12 years ago because the used games were always in poor shape. Those stickers were really tough to get off too! 2nd and Charles is much better and they have retro games too.
@zmanbarzel: No, Sony and Microsoft usually do improve some features while perhaps removing some of the minor features many people end up not really missing. Microsoft's future xbox's added things like a bigger hard drive, better reliability, wifi, ultra blu ray, with nothing being removed iirc. The Playstations have lost a few things like rca cable output, Serial port, and PS2 backwards compatibility but future models added better reliability, bigger hard drive, and a pro model if you choose to buy it.
The only time Nintendo added anything was with the top loader which was more reliable but they removed RCA outputs. The Snes, N64, Gamecube and Wii U were never improved except for the SNES not turning yellow . The Wii, which could have used a pro version more than any other console in history, kept getting worse every time a new model came out. First they removed Gamecube support then they removed wifi with no improvements. Kind of sad they couldn't even be bothered to upgrade the space to 1GB. They have made better versions of their handhelds though so I don't understand their reasoning for not improving the consoles.
Maybe I'm out of touch but this seems like the opposite of what many of us wanted. I'd be much more interested in a cheaper, more powerful home version of the Switch because I only play video games at home.
How about, "Alexa why can't I play 360 games in split screen on my Xbox One?" or "Alexa why can't I get my free copy of Castlevania this month because the stupid store keeps saying not available at this time with no error code." or "Alexa why won't my new 4k Blu Ray disc work"
Most troubleshooting I've had to do for any console I've ever owned. Hey I'm glad it has voice support I'll never use though!
