Lets remeber why MS got into the console war. The war with the PS. MS was worried back when the ps 1 was killing off the PC. The Xbox or Direct X - Box was made to take down sony ps2. Now they made the Xbox and it failed. I mean big ass controller that they had to make smaller and the price drop so early in the game. Was really sad. Xbox this time around wanted to be first. They did that well. except you know the red ring of fire and now the elite. MS just want to be number one - but now they can't because the Wii is going to drop them.

 

In regards to the ps3. It;s doing well. PS is always slow to start with, I brought the ps2 on launch and trust me the same issues we see now are similar. Just this time teh PS3 has started last. But have faith. Sony is a smart company and they have made an awesome machine. It's all about the planning, MS is running so fast that they burn out and only selling remake xbox to the fans due to rushing. First gen games are really the apetister not the meal. Anyways after Halo comes out what is the xbox worth :P Most ppl bash the ps3 due to the price and that they can't justify the means to buy it. Plus ppl want games now. xbox has games now. But that will change. PAL will win this one :D

Most people Critic and bash what they simply cannot have, its a means of justification. Whether it be price or whatever....  

They will find something, even if Sony lowered the price.  

IMO. The PS3 is doing great for its first few months. Its sold well compared to how much people thought it would sell due to its price. There were no shortages and consumer demand was met. Its yet to pick up steam and i agree with most of the posters here that it is going through one of the main teething problems that plague every system launch to date. Games.

Although vast, the selection of ps3 games at the moment are great...but none of them are amazingly superb, at least none that are exclusive to the system. Once all the fancy applications come into play, like Home, etc and the AAA titles start lining the shelves it will be unstoppable. i give it a year. :)

Agreed, i give it a year, and we wont even be having this conversation, or a Thread asking how the Ps3 is doing. Give it 2 and the Ps3 will clearly be dominating

Fact is the PS3 is clearly the superior machine, its just in its growing stages, everyone and everything has em..

IMO Microsoft clearly knows SONY is coming, and its only a matter of time before the Ps3's full potential runs away w/ any competition, Microsoft proved it by releasing a ELITE, to try to compare, IF IT CAN. 

No new news... Probably have to wait till E3.

Here's really the only news i have heard, but this is from word of mouth......... EXPECT A DELAY.. it will wait about a week before then delay the game 2 weeks in advance.. LASTING TILL 08, making a 08 launce along with R6V  LOL   gotta love UBISOFT

I cannot seem to get the gameplay as it is japanese any 1 know how to kill that small respawn creature , they have blocked my way and I have got just 2 powers used by triangle and X button.

Visually its beautiful, but i cant figure out whats going on, due to it being in Japanese   LOL  

well i downloaded folksoul yesteray, when i made my japanese account as well. i played it and beat the demo, and i wasnt that impressed. i mean i liked the graphics, hated the fact that it was all, dialouge and no voice acting, but liked the soul capturing. but this game reminded me of a game on the gamecube called lost kingdoms. i mean the fact that you capture souls while shaking the controller is cool and everytthin, but it just isnt my type of game, who agrees with me???? if not then tell why u like this game

I understand and have heard some complications with other game developers with the Ps3, but come on this is RIDICULOUS  (refering to the Rainbow Six delays)
