Anyone who stands in the way of AI is just delaying progression. AI is the future. Plain and simple. If you want to be mad at machines for "taking over jobs" then be mad at the Government for not having a universal income. This is how it was always supposed to be.
Lack of Universal Income + AI Threat is what keeps ppl giving their blood to not be replaced. They are mad at AI because its the unknown "enemy".
I really hope this will make ppl see the need of universal income in the AI era. And at same time I know those are the same ppl who call the unemployed "lazy" and think they should starve... Bunch of billionaires guard dogs..
@bat725: It's always amazing to see a well-trained company dog protecting their masters millions. Nobody is lazy, not more than you are. But most ppl are a bit smarter than you and know that wasting time in traffic just to satisfy the master's fetish for control is not tolerable. But sure, boil everything down to laziness if that makes the world easier for you to understand.
@mediastupid1: Everything that comes packed with "problem with todays society" is always wrong bullshit... And for your comments... you clearly have no clue about... about anything, really... maybe hard work is really the only thing left for you to do.
@bdrtfm: From the way you have been replying here clearly you have not developed your social skills as much as you think you did, if at all.
And for ppl who are logical and want to be efficient at their work going to an office only to satisfy the loliness and the kink for control of their managers is absurd.
The pandemics have shown the world that we can work from home. That we don't need to waste hours of our lives in traffic for no reason.
And if YOU think we should go back to that insane culture, YOU are part of the problem.
@majikayo666: You act like a teenager, you know that? It's all good if you are one... But anyway, the features part of the DLC will be free. The paid part is the new story/region. And no, their sales numbers says they don't need to stop making games.
@Slannmage: It works for a huge ammount of companies. And many ppl are way more productive at home, myself included.
But I feel sad for your friends... None of my friends relationships started at work. And with about 2 hours more from working from home ppl are living, that's where they get into relationships (at least my friends).
Too many games, and too many games without identity. I have a backlog that because of 2023 I decided to cut a lot of games from it. And it will still last for years.
And at the same time, like was said on the video, most games are bloated. I don't know the solution for this, because even if my reality now is that I can afford how many consoles and games I want, I know its not the case for the vast majority of gamers. Many ppl cant buy that many games and still need/want to get most of a single game.
Maybe games should leave the side quests entirely for the post game? Be more clear about the side content? I know we talk a lot about the quality of a game, but within the game the content quality also has a lot of variation. Everybody would benefit if the developers were more mindful of the best aspects of their games and take the so-so content out of the way.
@aichon: I think you nailed it. Entertainment is deeply personal and theres no "good" or "bad" ones.
My relationship with WoW is more or less like yours. Except that I never had the patience for the hardcore part of the game. But Ive also spent a lot of time building UIs to unclutter the screen while keeping only the relevant information visible. And I think I had more fun doing it then by actually playing the game...
