It's just his own way of attempting to show himself as "human" to us lesser beings.

Lesser beings? Speak for yourself mortal.

Voice Acting alone would be alot of work. Where as in FFVII you just had to read it yourself like a book, and use your imagination.

I prefer if they concentrate on newer games. FFVII doesn't necessarily have to be the best FFVII of all time. They can focus on FFXIV and make that the best FF of the franchise. If they'd want it of course.

He is a perfectionist. He is never satisfied enough with his work.

Gameplay over Artistic visuals over Sound/Music composer over Graphical effects such as textures and shiny lightning.

Thats how his priority list should look like.

I would enjoy MGS4 even if he created the game for the PS2. Just like Wii owners have their priority on gameplay.

I don't understand why he gives feedback on his own game. Why not after the game is released? I'm kinda surprised by it.

And it is, Hideo said that most of the gameplay elements he wanted was in. However it's mainly graphical power and scale of battle that he couldn't fit in

If he is restricted by the technical capibilities of the system, then he could spend his attention more to the other aspects of the game. Like sound/music. Extra cool features and ideas, innovation. etc etc.

I don't have a PS3 myself yet. But I think the the gameplay trailers looked really good. And the cut scenes with Vampire Versus Raiden. The fighting scenes look really awesome.

So lets say the PS3 had even more powerfull hardware. He would need to maximize the graphical potential for the game. Wich cost even more money to do. I personally much rather he spend his budget to the other aspects of the game. But I'm a minority it seems.

Do you hear Miyamoto giving criticism on his games because of the graphical limitations of the Wii? Nope.

I liked Majora's Mask better.

And of course. Both games have aged by now. Playing super mario galaxy is much more satisfying when compared to it. Only the old-school nerds/geeks among us will deny this.

"High Voltage is gambling that Wii owners want a mature FPS"

Mature fps game? LMAO this looks absolutely terrible.

Mario Galaxy looks much better then this garbage. If you want your share of adult games just buy a PC with S.T.A.L.K.E.R, Fallout, Rome Total War etc.

Developers need to create more platformers and other unique genres for the Wii. I don't buy a Wii for this trash.

Considering Grand Theft Auto is usually bigger in size then the average game. What type of DVD will be used do you think?

San Andreas filled a Dual Layer DVD9. GTAIV will have bigger textures and other visual details. Much more cut scenes, more voice acting. More music. More sound in general.

Triple layer? I haven't noticed this before. I wasn't even aware that it existed. Just saying. Since people go paranoid when they hear about disc space issues. I think they have plenty of room left even.

[QUOTE="JayPee89"]I don't hate Nintendo, I just don't enjoy their games as much as I did when I was younger. Overall I do think that Nintendo is primarily a children's company, and that is why I am not as entertained by their work as some other people are. I could say the same thing about Disney. I can't get into their movies the way I used to, but that doesn't mean I hate them. Both company's put out quality material for their target demographic which is the entire family. But no one can deny that material that is for the entire family is not the same as material for grown men. Yes, most reviewers are Nintendo fanboys.SeanBond

I'll back you up on this one, JayPee. I've been a lifelong Nintendo fan, ever since I picked up an NES controller for the first time. The SNES is my all-time favorite console, and I count probaby half a dozen games from the system as some of my all-time favorite games. Every generation, a buy Nintendo's console at launch, or at least as close to launch as I can manage/afford. Every generation, I wait breathlessly to see what kind of magic Nintendo has rolled out this time.

However, I've been playing games for around 20 years now, and all of a sudden I'm struggling to deal with what I feel towards Nintendo. Last gen I thought the Gamecube was great; Wind Waker was amazing (as was SSBM), Metroid Prime was revolutionary, and there were some genuinely awesome 3rd party titles (Capcom's contributions, for example). However, outside of Capcom, I saw very little in the way of compelling 3rd party titles, which eventually forced me to purchase an Xbox. This gen, the cycle seems to be repeating, only now I have a bigger problem: Nintendo's 1st party titles no longer hold the same enchantment for me, either. Twilight Princess was great, but it felt old to me (Ocarina with new makeup), Super Mario Galaxy had me yearning for Mario 64, and even Metroid Prime 3 (perhaps my favorite of the 3 previous games) didn't give me a clear reason why I purchased a Wii. Smash Bros. is an excellent game, but mechanically almost identical to the GC iteration, and I don't see too much on the horizon that I'm excited about.

Nintendo has two hits on the way very soon: Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii. Neither excites me particularly, and I find myself unfortunately drawn more towards upcoming 360/PS3 releases than to Wii ones. Is it because I'm immature? No; I prefer complex games, and I'm not worried about how "mature" or violent they are, as long as they're good. I simply feel like Nintendo is churning out the exact same games they've been churning out for the last 2 gens, and I'm not really sure I'm as excited to play them anymore. The prospect of another Zelda still excites me, but only if they take it another step. Imagine a Zelda where the world is as involved as Oblivion! Amazing. Instead, Nintendo will probably put out another game in the style of Ocarina, with a well-designed but sparse overworld, and not an incredible amount of interaction with NPCs. My tastes have changed in a subtle way, but Nintendo's game designs haven't. Sometimes it's not bad to make games that don't appeal to everyone (children for example), but Nintendo doesn't agree. It doesn't make Nintendo "kiddy", but it also doesn't interest me as much as it used to.

This has been discussed a gazillion of times. And I'm not gonna bother to state my opinion on this matter anymore. Its always the same story. Enraged Nintendo fanboy with kirby/pokemon/mario/zelda avatar will go to defensive stance and turn the laws of logic upside down to prove their point.

There was a same discussion in Subrosian's post about this.

''If you don't like the Mona Lisa... you're ignorant you this you that etc blabla and all that mumbo jumbo''.

If you claim you like Rembrandt better as a painter. They flame you down and tell you Picasso and his Mona Lisa is a masterpiece and you are not allowed to criticize him. And then they'l call you ignorant -_-

JayPee stated his opinions. And sheep are trying to correct him. Wich is simply a disgusting attitude.
