This is just a good ol' fun movie. Definitely not to be taken seriously by any means. Just a fun, bizarre action movie.

Really doesn't sound much different than the original.

During the early parts of the game, Nemesis only showed up occasionally, and involved quick time events, where you either fought him and gained nice items for temporarily "downing" him, or you ran, and had to evade him for a while through some of the game before he vanished. Then he would show up again later on down the road, and you made the decision again. It wasn't until later into the game that you started being forced to fight him as a boss encounter. Sounds like this remake is doing something similar.

The original was also a mix between the standard survival horror with a little bit more action than the previous games. It was what set apart RE3 from the previous two titles, was that it ramped up the pace a tad.

Obviously everyone is entitled to their opinions, but it sounds to me like a lot of what the reviewer is docking the game for, are the same things that were part of the core experience of the original RE3 title.

This game looks fun. Only thing that would have made it better is if it had co-op. Co-op in turn based strategy games is always a ton of fun!

Still, I am excited to play it.

I don't care much for the texting, but synchronizing a movie with people you are in Teamspeak or Discord with, that could be fun during this time.

$20 isn't bad. That is the cost of 2 adult tickets. If you have more than 2 people watching it, it is cheaper, and more convenient too. Good on them for trying this out.

It is a good game at its core, it just needs quite a bit more patching and polishing.

Not what I was expecting, but not necessarily a bad thing. I was expecting old school Baldurs Gate, Icewind Dale kind of play and camera angles and such. This looks to be much more on par with Original Sin.

Again, not a bad thing, just unexpected. I had a ton of fun in co-op with both the Original Sin games, so if this gives the same amount of fun, I am all for it.

This was my favorite game in the series. I played through RE3 so many times on my PS1 as a kid. RE2 Remake was great, and this looks to be shaping up to be great as well. This is making me all giddy. Nemesis was just that ultimate baddy that never gave up, and just got more terrifying as the game went on.

I really hope these remakes continue to be major successes. I would love to see it branch out into some Dino Crisis remakes. And if others want to get in on the success, I would love a Parasite Eve 1 and 2 remake, with a Silent Hill remake as well. One can dream!

Happy about this. I think going back to New York should be fun. It will allow for some story building to connect to Div1, and gives us a slightly new environment to play around in. I will enjoy seeing how the old factions have evolved and changed since the first game.
