The best Wii game so far is arguably Zelda. It doesn't use the Wiimote to an advantage at all. It's not "innovative" to use the Wiimote when you are playing a game that clearly controls better with a conventional controller. I think there's no question about this.PotatoSandWitch

You relized that this game wasn't designed for Wii and Nintendo has stated that they purposely didn't use it to it's full potential so the game could be the same game that it is on Gamecube?

I realize this but I also realize that the Wii hasn't exactly only been out a few days now and it still doesn't have a game that can compete with it. All this future expecting of wonderful Wii games with amazing Wiimote controls is only speculation as of now.

I think that's because it's Zelda...

[QUOTE="HeedleGlavin"][QUOTE="karicha9"]So you would call those people at the retirement homes that play the Wii gamers?karicha9

Is there an age limit on being a gamer? Furthermore, even if old people aren't "gamers" - that dosen't mean that the Wii dosen't appeal to anybody else.

Not my point at all.

I wouldn't call these elderly individuals "gamers", since they really don't game enough, just as I don't consider myself a poker player, even though I participate in poker nights every now and then.

It IS impressive that people of all ages have found entertainment and benefit with gaming on the Wii, though, and that is Nintendo's goal.

So the majority of people who fuel the market aren't gamers to you?

Considering that is one of Nintendo and Miyamoto's stated goals for the system....I'll let you figure that out.Runningflame570
So his goal is for people who are non-gamers to be gamers while still being non-gamers?

Is there an age limit to how old you must be to play videogames? The Wii is easier to play games for people with bad hand/eye coordination. Not everyone can use duel joysticks well. Most people now grow up with videogames and computers. So were used to it.

I can't use doel joysticks well and I'd much perfer a more natrual control...

[QUOTE="Zhengi"]It's obvious you've never even touched Zelda for the Wii. Don't make assumptions if you're not going to try out the game first. I think Zelda for Wii controls better than conventional controllers.PotatoSandWitch
my brother has owned a Wii since Xmas and hasn't played it for a week or so because Zelda has no replay value (to me or him, anyways) and WarioWare lasted him a couple of days before I proved him right that he wouldn't like it (because it sucks). I've played Zelda up to about where you get the wolf. And the controls feel amazingly clunky to me.

Ah but have you played the Gamecube version? On and Zelda and WarioWare aren't the only games on Wii you know...

[QUOTE="acviper123"]I dont think Wii will win. I think it will be close, but wont win. I think by the end of this war the big three will be so close (relativly) in sales that it wont matter who won anyways.

Curious to see how well the Wii continues to perform once the silly gimmick wears off. I still say it's Gamecube 2.

Gamecube didn't have a "silly" gimmick and Wii is way too underpowered to be Gamecube 2...

I keep hearing this and WTH? The Wii is a games console and thus people who play it are gamers, non-gamers can not be gamers and therefore non-gamers cannot be Wii players.

I don't think Microsoft should talk when they have THIS game on their console.

jfkunrendered

And that's not even a third party game!

You guys have obviously never played the game...way to go with your uneducated accusations...bravo...bravo. This game is not easy at all...nor is it kiddy. I could say the same thing about Wind Waker, but i`m not like that....

Oh yeah it's not kiddy because it's on X-Box 360... And since when does kiddy = easy?
