Wow, the people almost look like real grocery bags... Anyway one thing I'll give to it is the lighting isn't too shiney and reflective like we see in too many games.

Just because supplies keep coming doesn't mean that Nintendo is delivering every last unit they have.
If your nintendo and you make money on each unit sold... why would you hold any back?
To make it into a fad and make more people believe it is something special because it's never available. In addition, they assume that if a consistently sold-out product is somehow in stock one day, with one unit left, the consumer will do an impulse buy because it's such a hot item and in limited supply. In short, they are ripping off people on multiple levels. A company ripping people off? Oh no it's the apocalypse...
I thought the same exact thing after reading this article. To fully grasp this article one must understand concept supply and demand, and how a company (such as Nintendo) utilizes it in a beneficial way. If this is true, no one should regard Nintendo as a bad (or "evil") company.
