@mboettcher The problem is that this guy literally means when a wall collapses, its gone. no rubble or anything. Many games don't become better just because I can now essentially, walk through walls.
Which is why everyone here is making fun of this. Land destruction would be great if there was an actual side effect to doing it. But just making the buildings go away isn't very useful in most games.
@Lexicar @RPG_Fan_I_Am @unreal101 right, but us gamers have no idea what makes a good game.
This guy clearly is simply thinking in the sense of the tree would then disappear, having no actual effect on the environment. In which case hole punching is completely useless. lol
@unreal101 I mean, in MGS3, punching a hole in the wall might bring attention to yourself.... so it would be rather pointless. But then again, you gain access to a different route, you didn't previously have access to. Also since walls collapse. If your in a a big city, you could plant c4, and run into an ally way or something, and when the enemy follows you you set off the C4, and the walls collapse, possibly killing the enemy, or blocking them from getting you for a while. Thus allowing you to hide again. But this would also block your path.
