Modern Warfare: AAA. CoD4: 50 GotY awards. Cry more? CoD: 80 GotY awards.

[QUOTE="RRTTWAAA"][QUOTE="Ace6301"] And Justin Beiber is considered the best musician ever by at least 50 groups of people too. What's your point? Or are you one of those people who think game journalists actually have a more valid opinion than any other person?Ace6301
1) Justin Biebier is considered the best musician only by teenage girls.
2) Ask any professional music critics (or whatever they're called)--nobody will refer to him as significant or great. They'd mention Jackson, Beatles, Elvis etc.
3) Ask any professional video game critics, and they'll all tell you the greatness and importance of MODERN WARFARE.
No they'd probably be more inclined to go on about the greatness and importance of important games like Doom, Half Life, Halo and Battlefield. COD's gameplay hasn't really changed much since 2 and the things it gets credit for innovating were actually just borrowed by other, much better, games. They actually made modern warfare the central setting of the FPS genre.

Well then, too bad Justin beiber was selected for best new artists for 2011 at the Grammys.

Too bad CoD4 won over 50 Game of the Year awards. Too bad CoD4 is considered one of the most influential and most important (and the best) FPS shooters ever made.

[QUOTE="Red2k-"][QUOTE="Sp4rtan_3"]The BF fanboys will be touting sales when BF3 comes out. They say "sales dont matter" but they know that they actually do.Sp4rtan_3No, people are actually saying that sales does not equal quality. So lets dismiss CoD's numerous AAA- AA ratings :? Cod isn't a terrible game its just an unoriginal rehash with bad MP.
Too bad its MP has revolutionized the industry, and every other FPS developer follows them.
The last CoD

yeah...

This is an instalment in the MW series, so why not compare with a MODERN WARFARE game? Oh, because you lose...
Last BF game: http://www.gamerankings.com/pc/957944-battlefield-bad-company-2/index.html

CoD dominates.

[QUOTE="sethman410"] Yeah they won't. But I'm talking about like in-game marketing kind of stuff in mmo games. Like free mmos but with in-game selling items for real money.
EDITED: Yes, it is confirmed that it will have additional premium content. Google is your best friend. However, it remains to be unseen if it will have subscription based online.

 Highly unlikely. This is not WoW we're talking about.
Ok, in your dreams. Don't be surprised when you buy this game and be "oh crap" because you don't face realities. DLC has been more expensive with each release and now what they're gonna do next? Not even mentioning that the series is getting more popular. They will still findmore ways to grab more money out of their wallets. And guess what? It's gonna have premium features.DLC has always been around.
But for example, thinking the thought that Activision would charge for (for example) Prestige Modes, weapons, accolades etc., is just ridiculous.

I know. I guess that means Justin Beiber makes the best music because he know he has the "sales".

I don't know what you're talking about, Activision has previously stated that they will never ever charge for the online mode.

Better wait for MW12 before claiming that one

MW3 is the trilogy ender.
Don't worry, it will be nothing like Super Reshario or Legend of Failda.
Good. I hate games that innovate.
Legend of Zelda was never close to being innovative.
Mario was only innovative initially, but has recently been nothing more than a pain in the ass for real gamers.
