I know. I guess that means Justin Beiber makes the best music because he know he has the "sales".
Well then, too bad Modern Warfare is an AAA franchise.

Can't wait MW3 is going to go down as the greatest FPS of all time.
IPWNDU2
Better wait for MW12 before claiming that one
MW3 is the trilogy ender.
Don't worry, it will be nothing like Super Reshario or Legend of Failda.
Not a blind hater. Been playing since the first, and yeah don't expect much to change.
IPWNDU2
U mad when it will score AAA and outsell your favourite game? Mad?
[QUOTE="drakekratos"]I can expect 25 million for MW2 and perhaps 8 million for Battlefield 3.Nope, not even close.
Why you ask? Because only gamers know about the Battlefield franchise. Only hardcore gamers check for youtube videos of pre-release trailers. And it's being overhyped due to it's PC graphics (we havent seen what it will look like on consoles yet). At the end of the day, the multiplayer is running on a similar engine that Medal of Honor was. The game will be a sluggish 30 frames per second, or posisbly even less, on consoles. DICE has never perfected controls the way IW has. BF is also known for large, strategic battles, which isn't as popular with the ADD-generation of instant gratification.
CoD on the other hand is a cultural pop icon type of game. The only franchises that compare to it are Super Mario and GTA. 15-20 million sellers. These are games that the most casual players consider "must buys", and lets face it, most people who own systems ARE casual gamers. These are franchises your 50 year old aunt and uncle know about. And while some people may lose interest in CoD, there's always a new group of 12 year olds dying to try out CoD for the first time every year and see what all the hype is about.
MW3 - 20 million+
Battlefield 3 - not even half of that.

I guess you mean MW3? I'm with you on that one, then.
If it's MW3 gameplay you want, just pop in MW2

Can we expect some gamplay of the biggest game of all time, in less than a week?? :D
Troll trying to be unique by not listing MODERN WARFARE 3, confirmed?
MW3 is the biggest entertainment product of the year.
BF3? Just another FPS.
Go figure.

watch fault lines the full 11min one.All gameplay and looks to be ready to come in and take a massive steamer on them. Also if you've played any of the main series of battlefield prior to this, you would know how robust its multiplayer is aswell as making communities not destroying them with pissy matchmaking systems and games full of 13 year old spoiled brats and bro gamers
Cod will most likely have those pissy animations, for the love of god ragdoll is norm now, hardly anyone uses those ancient death animations, aswell. And for the love of god get rid of the P2P system for online its dire, outdated and your netcode sucks even in CoD4 on consoles.

Their gameplay is different. BF: slow, CoD: fast, intense.
BF: Think about what you do, use your brain. CoD: Shoot anything that moves Not strictly true your point either. I've played some pretty intense Bad Company 2 gamesBF: boring.
CoD: entertaining.
Don't get me wrong, hopefully BF3 will be vastly different from the rest of the games in the BF saga, but BC2 was such a boring game. I remember playing it like 1 hour max with my buddies, and there was like only one that approved of it. While we together have hundreds of hours of playtime on MW2 (and counting).
It's nothing personal, but DICE simply doesn't know how to make good games that millions of people will find fun to play. Some developers are naturally more magical than others. That's the way it is.

[QUOTE="DmadFearmonger"]That title belongs to Battlefield 3. Hands downrazgriz_101
We haven't seen any gameplay from MW3 yet. And if MW2 is anything to go by, BF3 may as well start digging its own grave.
