[QUOTE="Ace6301"] Dat 5.7 user rating. So good.Ace6301

BF fantards hatin'.

But MW2 sold 20+ million copies. Surely the number of BF fans can't out number the number of MW fans!

MW2 fans don't care about that, they play the game because it's so good! While BF fans have nothing better to do than try to make MW look bad. ;)

Making something popular doesn't mean doing it first.

Battlefield 2 also sold over 2 million copies so its not like it was unpopular either.

Ace6301

MW2 sold 4.7 million in 1 day of availability.

So all you have is sales. Alright we're done here then. Also your "nope" was hilarious. I'll keep in mind that 2007 came before 2005 for future reference.

So all I have is sales?

I've been giving you scores from MC/GR and GotY awards granted all day, but you BF fanboys just ignore them. Ye, that's right

And COD wont come close in touching BF3 in quality.

Fizzman

Except that Modern Warfare > BF in terms of scores. :?:o

CoD4 popularized the war against terrorism, and the modern setting. Please try again.

The same way they are viewed now, like piles of trash that are successful because they market to people who don't know any better.

Pug-Nasty

Modern Warfare: AAA. CoD4: 50 GotY awards. Cry more? CoD: 80 GotY awards.

COD4 and MW are the same game. And that was a long time ago.

Referred to that Modern Warfare is an AAA franchise.

No offense but when I look at games that game out 10 years ago, number of GOTY and AAA scores is not what I look at and really it isn't what most people look at.

I reacted to: "The same way they are viewed now, like piles of trash".

[QUOTE="Ace6301"] No they'd probably be more inclined to go on about the greatness and importance of important games like Doom, Half Life, Halo and Battlefield. COD's gameplay hasn't really changed much since 2 and the things it gets credit for innovating were actually just borrowed by other, much better, games.Ace6301

They actually made modern warfare the central setting of the FPS genre.

Battlefield 2 did the historical war to modern switch first.

Nope.
