@Arkhalipso: Like 99% of the time a dev puts micro-transactions in a game, they unbalance the game to incentivize buying their micros.... and a 100% of the time, gamers rush to defend them.
@preacher001: It sounds to me like you haven't spent much time at all gaming with a Mouse and Keyboard. I would have said the same thing when I was a console gamer--"blends their independent motions making them quickly vanish from a players mind in a way that only more experienced KB&M players will argue is the same" is a nice way of expressing it. In fact, even once I built my PC, I still intended to play almost exclusively with a controller, but then I decided "eh, let's give it mouse and keyboard a shot." It was almost immediately that I was playing the game without thinking about what was I doing.
Moving a mouse pointer is something that everyone under 40 grew up doing, so it's second nature at this point. We don't think about moving a mouse when we're watching youtube or editing a word doc, so why would it become mechanical when we're playing a game?
@preacher001: I didn't change anything. You said more natural, I said the motions you make to aim with a mouse and keyboard are more natural than the motions you make to aim with a controller. You chose the topic, I replied to it.
Also, I didn't make it about in any way especially about the arm. I said "hand and arm." You move both your hand and arm to move a mouse. You move both your hand and arm to aim a gun.
@preacher001: I said "Moving your hand and arm to aim a gun is more natural than moving just your thumb." I didn't say it was better. I'm sorry, but you are not going to change the topic of conversation.
