Found out my batteries are dead after getting SSBB so I havent been able to play it since when I start up my Wii it goes straight to the menu and I only have my GC controller, is there a way to start it up to go straight to the game, or must this be changed in the menu too?DevilMustCry

Nope, it always goes to the dashboard of the Wii, there's no way to autoplay discs

so...umm, just pay like $2 and get a new set of AA batteries, it's pretty simple

I camped out for my Wii on the day it came out, and I really enjoyed the camping experience, so I don't think it's that absurd that people camp out for things. It's sort of a communal thing that's very fun

That being said, I'm amazed that people are still waiting hours in line for the Wii. I went to Best Buy yesterday to pick up my copy of Brawl and there were at least 20 people waiting for them

I have a day 1 Wii and I've had absolutely no problems with Brawl, so I don't think it's a huge coverup as you are accusing Nintendo of. They've admited there are some issues with certain consoles, and they've also told everyone that they're willing to fix the consoles for free, so I don't understand why people are getting upset about this.

So, there's nothing wrong....unless you decided to take apart the console yourself

Actually, at least at the Wal-Mart closest to me, they often get games a day ahead of time. So, it might be worth checking them out on the 8th

I think your definition of 'threatened' may be a little bit broad. I think most people on the forums have received TOS warnings from the mods at one time or another. Don't make it seem like GS is trying to take you down or silence your unique and important voice.
