Personally, and this is just me, but I have really reduced the amount of games I play on the PC. I guess I just prefer the fact that most console games work perfectly right out of the box.

Not being a console fanboy or anything, I'm just saying I suppose I enjoy the ease of use of a console

My brother has one of the Nyko chargers in question and he hasn't had a problem with it

Personally, I use Energizer rechargables and a recharger. It ran me about $30, but the plus side to using rechargable AAs instead of rechargable battery packs is the fact that you can buy more batteries for relatively cheap (about $8 for 4), and you can use those batteries in other devices, not just the Wiimotes

I got a message threatening termination. A few hours ago on this board I posted a 1up artical which had a very negative tone towards Gamespot.com and CNet. MODS I'm not putting the URL up on this board again...so chill.

But I thought I would share that with this community. If anyone wants the artical, message me privatly.

You probably got warned because you violated the TOS for talking about something that has already been covered ad nauseum over a month ago. Don't make it seem like you're some supressed visionary trying to get the truth out about something. It happened a while ago, there was bad fallout from it, but people have moved on

Also, starting a thread like this probably only cements your potential for banning

Even if it would work, you wouldn't have a stable enough connection to play games online. Sorry to burst your bubble.

I just wanted to let everyone know that, at least at my Wal-Mart, they have Days of Ruin in stock. It seems like most retailers won't be getting the game until Wednesday, but Wal-Mart has stocked DS games a few days early quite a few times. I'm not advertising for Wal-Mart or anything (I try to avoid the place as much as possible) but I thought there may be some AW addicts out there that can't wait a few more days for their fix :)

Even if you have the game, I think based on your possible number of gameplay hours thus far, it's really hard to make a valid statement on the matter.drummer131

Agreed. It's really tough to make a definite judgement on the game after so little time

Though, I will say, I like the new look and an Advance Wars game with Wi-fi is like peanut butter and chocolate

Can anyone tell me how the single player is? I enjoy multi-player to some extent, but I'm more single player oriented.nickehl

Well, I can't speak for Days of Ruin because I don't have it yet...but, the AW games have always had pretty good single player campaigns with challenging opponent AI. Not so challenging that you'll throw your DS across the room, but probably challenging enough that you may have to try missions a few times before you beat them

care to let us know where you got it? It's a lot more helpful than just boasting about it :)

If you think Front Mission may be a little too hardcore strategic for you (it was for me, I bought it and sold it after about a month), you might want to wait until next week for the new Advance Wars game. It's not exactly action, but it's really fast paced with great strategy elements
