[QUOTE="Rocky32189"]

[QUOTE="famicommander"]There have been great Sonic games consistently since the series debuted. There have also been bad ones, but check out this list: famicommander

There has yet to be a game in the series that lives up to the Genesis games and Sonic CD. Sonic games are only getting consistently worse, not better in both the 2D and 3D series:

3D: Sonic Adventure is the best 3D Sonic game and it's been downhill since that one.

2D: The Sonic Advance games weren't as good as the Genesis/Game Gear/Sega CD games. The Sonic Rush games weren't as good as the Sonic Advance games.

Also, there's been many more crappy games in the series besides just Sonic 06 and Shadow the Hedgehog.

So a game that doesn't live up to five of the greatest games of all time is instantly bad? Seriously, which games ARE as good as Sonic 1-3, Sonic and Knuckles, and Sonic CD? I judge each game based on its own merits. NSMB and Yoshi's Island DS aren't as good as SMB 3 and SMW. Does that make them bad games?

In all fairness, Yoshi's Island DS and NSMB stand as great games in their own right, whether they live up to the originals or not. Sonic games are just the complete opposite. Even if you choose not to compare them to their originals.

You could never look up or down on the original Doom titles so unless there were major changes to level design, there would be little need to implement touch screen controls. Maybe they could throw in a map-maker instead?

Don't know about Sonic Advance 1, but 2 and 3 ripped entire chunks of level from Sonic 2 and 3, and just put a new coating of paint over the top. What a chudding rip-off...

I've taken this from the UK site Digital Spy. It is just a prediction/projection so don't take it too seriously, but it comes from Sony themselves.

Sony boss Chris Deering has surprised many by predicting that the firm's PlayStation 2 console, which launched in the UK in the year 2000, will have more active users than Nintendo's Wii by 2011. Speaking at the launch of Edinburgh's Interactive Festival, the games chief said all platforms will see major growth by 2011, predicting there will be 2.5 billion gamers worldwide. Deering said the DS will have rocketed to 150m users, but top of the home console market will be the PS2 with 90m active users. The Sony boss added the Wii will be second with 80m users, the PS3 and PSP will be at 70m and the Xbox 360 at 40m.

[Edit]Personally I don't care for any of this sort of business. I'm happy with my DS for the time being. When I get around to buying one of those 3 consoles, it wont be based on how many people own or 'actively use' those consoles.

Phantom Hourglass. Although not technically the best looking 3D DS game, it's pretty enough.

As long as you know how to take the case off the DS without damaging it, and look after whats left while you spray the casing you will be ok. Just don't do this unless you are seriously sure you can do it. The link LadyShanoa put up is a pretty good guide to follow, just make sure you know the pictures aren't in order. You'll have to organise that first.

Is there a source for this story? A Chinatown in Hong Kong doesn't really make any sense...

If you consider yourself retro enough, i'd recommend Megaman 9. Assuming it retains the high standards of the first 2 games of which it is based on. Beyond that i'm no help at all lol.

Sega did an awesome job with the GameCube version. As long as one of those two develop it, I wont be fussed.

This game has no co-op mode at all, as far as i'm aware. It's not that kind of RPG.
