[QUOTE="Raiko101"]Yawheh?! Goldeneye's gameplay hasn't aged at all! Having one of the biggest retro fanbases ever, if not the biggest is testement enough to how great that game was and still is. It's one of the best games ever made and can stand up to any FPS today!jedinat
Blewhey?! You wanna fight boy? Seras has got bigger guns whoever that character in your avvie is!

Haha, maybe so. But Vincent can wrap himself with his cloak and dart around the place looking like nothing more than a smokey blur. :P

[QUOTE="Raiko101"]Psygnosis ruled! They got me into F1 with the brilliant F1 97! Destruction Derby was another PS1 classic.Black_Knight_00

Being a sucker for Sci-Fi, I was a big fan of Colony Wars and G-Police. Those were difficult as well, though now that I think about it, all Psygnosis games I can think of were hard as heck.

G-Police was brilliant. I never completed it, mainly because I was a little too young, but it was really fun. I might have to hunt down another copy of it sometime. I do remember Colony Wars, but it looked far too complex for me lol.

[QUOTE="Raiko101"]Or just think "This is too hard, I don't want to play it anymore", and thus stops buying games, and thus Nintendo doesn't make as much money from the casuals. Personally I think games have been too easy for the past 10 years anyway. Games these days seem to bel based around so-called "immersive experiences" for the gamer, and the challenges that video games presented through the entire 2D era, up until the 32/64-bit consoles have long gone.Huell_Howser

I'm not too sure games have been becoming less difficult. Rather I just think people are getting better at games. Just think back to your first time playing through classics like SMB3 or super mario world. Back then, I remember those games being crazy hard. Nowadays I'll blow through them in a couple hours as I have so much experience with them. And take FPS's. The controls and basic way of playing is very similar from game to game so your skills carry over to each new game, making them seem easier as your skills progress. Heck, I never played zelda a link to the past during the snes era and played it for the first time a couple years ago and thought it was an easy game. I'm sure if I would've played it back then I would remember it as being a hard game because I wouldn't have been as experienced with gaming as I am now.

And as for games that are meant to be "immersive experiences", I'm glad these types of games are around now. Sometimes I'd rather relax when I play a game rather than throw my controller through the tv when I lose 5000 times in a row.

Haha, I don't really have a response for what you've written. I can only say that you wrote a great response yourself! Anyways, anyone who ever heard of Sega in the 80's knows who Alex Kidd is! He was Sega's mascott until Sonic came about, and was even inside your Master System (litteraly!).

[QUOTE="Raiko101"] Rockstar have been quoted as saying GTA ChinaTown will be 3D.

Jdog30

Link! or didn't happen

Urgh. and as I was about to tell you how ignorent your comment was and that you could go find the quote yourself. Then I find out the quote Coolyfett posted has indeed be tampered with. To put it simply, "3-Dimensional" is not included in the original quote. So that's my ignorence stated, and i've made an ass of myself too. But then I did get too carried away with trying to draw attention to a single post that I never even bothered checking it for authenticity. At least I now know how few messages some GameSpot users here choose to read before posting a reply as it went completely under the radar, along with 2 of my posts, for nearly the entire thread...

Anyways, here's the link and the original statement from Rockstar.

This game was pretty hard, but that was the standard those days. I love this game. I was going to do a playthrough of all 20 levels for my VGgameplay project on Youtube, but we kept running out of lives and eventually had to give in lol. Great game though. I strongly recommend it. I think it was released under a different title in the US though.

I can't believe this is still going on. If you dig out one of the threads on here, it may even be this one. Rockstar have been quoted as saying GTA ChinaTown will be 3D. They also said it will differ from previous GTA experiences, so basically don't expect anything too similar to the GTA's you've all played.

On another note, there seems to be a worrying high trend here of people coming up with their own ideas of what the game will be like and then they're judging the game based on those ideas. We really have to hold up until some solid info comes through surely? :/

Your best bet when it comes to selling games is to cut out the middle man, i.e the retailers. Sell it on eBay if you can. Or if you have local paper advertising, use that. You'll get twice as much for it than you would selling it to a shop.

I dunno, I went into Gamecrazy a few days ago and on the "games for girls" shelf they had two pink Nintendo DS' and 'My Personal Weight Loss Coach'. I thought it was pretty insensitive though so I told the manager and she changed it.fellowbetrayed
That's really bad actually! I'm not suprised they changed it. But then again they shouldn't really have a female-only section. It kind of suggests that everything else is for males only.
