Having played MGS at the Eurogamer Expo yesterday, I don't think I would want to play it again without the 2nd slider.

Do we have a picture of the additional slide pad?

That's a good way of putting it. I think i'm with you on that one! Developers really shouldn't be creating games in which the game needs to be controlling the camera anyway. It's a bit lazy.

I don't think so. Sounds more like a visual update or new ways to structure or order games currently available.

Not really. It is quite clear that games come across a little blurry. This is most notable with in-game text. However, the images are still clear and definable. I've now packed away my DS and play my DS games on my 3DS.

I'm with you on that. Apparently Heroes of Ruin will support online chat. Nintendo are still too sensitive to do this with Mario Kart though, i'm sure.

If the Vita battery life is no better then I wouldn't get your hopes up.

NO Spent enough $$ on the Wii motion plus thing only to use it on 1 game.

Completely understandable. Although i'm sure you'll put it to good use with Skyward Sword. As for myself, I am going to buy it, out of curiosity. I know I could be throwing away my money, but I suspect i'll enjoy Snake Eater more with it.

I would strongly recommend Donkey Kong from the Virtual Console. I put 6 and half hours in on my first playthrough and the level design is top notch. It's like Donkey Kong Jr, but with better controls and around 100 different levels.
