Whilst I agree with what you're saying, if a company sees a new control method as a way around creativity, the chances are they wouldn't have done anything special otherwise. I suspect there will be a number of developers who will come up with some interesting concepts without having to use this accessory. So begins the downward spiral?
I mean adding this second analog stick so far has just shown us that it's being done so developers can be lazy and port over things they've already created, instead of giving us something new and interesting with the hardware we have.
le sigh.

[QUOTE="Raiko101"]Remember, at this stage the second analog stick is an optional attachment. It's not required in order to play Monster Hunter or any other game for that matter. If Nintendo were to announce a new revision to the console, they'd have to get it out on the market very quickly, rather than wasting time on developing this attachment.Kenny789I read that it's required to play MH on the 3DS and there's no way to play without it. Is that true?
It's not the same source I read, but its in black and white here. You can either use the attachment or the touch screen.

Sorry I can't make it a clickable link. It seems every time I post on these forums I have to insert my own html and this time it does not like me trying to make links. What is the deal with these forums?

Is that true? I'm trying to dig up a source for you. Bare with me. It is out there. As it stands though, i've yet to find a source that has said otherwise.
