Its ridiculous to ask other people if its worth the purchase price when its all about opinion.

Then I guess asking people what games are worth purchasing is ridiculous, because it's all about opinion? :?
And Sony did NOT take losses with the PSP. Some people seem to assume that they did simply because Nintendo "beat" them with the DS, but Sony did profit, quite a bit, off of the PSP.
The $250 price tag is pretty ridiculous, for $50 more you could get a 360 or a PS3, both of which have more powerful technology, more features, better libraries etc. They should at least have a good bundle available... If it was $250 for the system plus OoT, that would be a much more attractive option...
Good point actually. My bad. According to this source here, the PSP cost roughly $170 to build and consumers paid $250 for it. That's a mark up of $80.The DS lite originally cost $90 to build and consumers paid $130 for it. That's a $40 mark up. If anything, I think Nintendo have taken a leaf out of Sony's book this time around, by increasing the profit margin. I'm not supporting this decision, but why undercut the competition when your handheld's are more recognisable, cater to a wider audience and have a unique selling point. On top of all that, why weren't Sony selling the PSP at a loss, like the PS3 and PS2? Are they doing it with Vita? Why does it need a price drop?Because it's not worth it's current asking price. The Vita is a lot more powerful, yet the same price. Clearly Nintendo is ripping you off. Sure you can say "THE GAMES, THE GAMES" (which there are none I want), but that's the games, not the system. I won't say the games aren't worth the asking price because they are, but the system isn't. Hey, just because one company sells their product at a loss, it doesn't mean the other is ripping you off.[QUOTE="Coolyfett"]

No I do not. If I was to buy a 3DS today, there wouldn't be a single game for me to buy. Not to mention I don't think the 3DS is worth $250. I will not be getting one until it drops to $160-$200.

I've never had to restart the console because of ghosting, or as some put it 'double-imaging'. I've found that I experienced this most during my first weeks of usage. My eyes were often strained and I couldn't play for more than half an hour before the ghosting appeared. My solution was to simply turn the 3D slider to a low setting and work it back up slowly, each and every time you play. Give it a week and you'll be used to playing on full without ghosting.
A second tip, the vertical tilting of the console can sometimes produce ghosting. Try tilting the console up and down and see if that improves the image. I've had to do this a few times in recent weeks. As I say though, i've never had to restart my 3DS in order to get rid of ghosting. Not to say that it isn't a solution.
[QUOTE="Raiko101"]Try using the cradle to charge. See if that helps.ACL0V3R
No where didhe/she say she has a 3DS, just saying.
Fair enough. I guess i've just come to assume everybody is talking about 3DSs these days. My bad. Ignore me!
