TimeSplitters 2 caters towards any FPS fan who seeks either a decent single player challenge or multiplayer fun. The MGS series on the hardest difficulties is more than a worthy challenge too. I know what you're getting at though. Games these days whilst fun, aren't generally as challenging as games of the yesteryear. It's more about creating an 'experience' rather than a challenge these days. A shame really...
That's not sales of 2-1. More like 3-2. Still it'll take more than a months sales to dislodge the fastest selling games console of all-time. Especially in Japan.
It is complete hypocrisy to find this game offensive and not any other video game based around another war in recent history. This is the media again trying to strangle any small drops of money out of any possible thing they can.
This is no way confirms anything but that the guy responsible for 2 of the games in the series will have no involvement in any future Starfox projects.
The Wii is selling like hotcakes in the UK. Far far better than anywhere else in Europe. But I think people doubt how morecasual gamers have bought the Wii compared to the older generation of gamer. Many gamers here, especially the younger gamer, write off the Wii as a kids console without playing them for more than 5 minutes so most Wii owners tend to be new or casual. The casuals probably buy the majority of all games sold in the UK these days too. It would explain why we had both Brain Training games, Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii in our all-format top 10 chart for over a year. I don't think Wii Fit has ever left our top 10 since it was first released. So when a game like Madworld has to compete alongside them, they're never going to compare. I mean look at GTA Chinatown wars. It's about to drop out of our top 10. I think people underestimate how few console sales are made by the older generation gamer. Madworld did get a lot of promotion here in the UK, just as GTA Chinatown wars is, but clearly the casual market is far stronger and games like these get overshadowed by the more casual titles.
Having finally played Dead Rising on the Wii I can safely say it is just as fun as the 360 version. That's not to say it's a great game, but it's not a bad one either. In terms of porting a game from the 360 to the Wii however, it's a big middle finger up to all those that doubted it's quality on the Wii. Now lets see if any developers out there will port over something better. Personally I prefer House of the Dead: Overkill as it's not a genre that appears in my games collection too often and I like variety.
Well Resident Evil 0 and the remake of Resident Evil 1 are exclusive to Nintendo. I wouldn't rule out more exclusives for Wii. Capcom and Nintendo have seemingly developed a strong relationship over the last 8 years.
It's definately worth the money. The game is a good mix between the first 2 GTA games and GTA III. There are loads of side missions that'll keep you playing for some times as well, including street races, time trials, warehouse raids, Noodle Runs, Delivery Services, Gun Clubs, tatooists and Rampages. Best of all, they all use a medal system based on high scores so you'll be playing them until you get 100%.
Anything with an average score of 6 or more is worth investigating. Perhaps rent or borrow from a friend. Whether you choose to buy it though is relevent to your own first impressions.
I'd like to see a Pilotwings Wii with 16-player online checkpoint races and competitions. I'd also like to see a new Road Rash that re-creates the experience of the original, much in the same way that the new PunchOut re-creates the NES experience, with Wiimote and nunchuck controls so you can club everyone around you satisfyingly.
