I bought a 2nd hand GameCube at GameStation a long while ago and returned it within 5 minutes after seeing the condition. They tried so hard no to allow me to return it and even offered me another console. I assume that this is how the staff are trained to deal with such matters. However, if you ask to speak to the manager, their policy is simply that the customer is always right and will accept your return of the console with no arguement.

I think 10 is impossible for ds game. Maybe 7-8.5

riou7
Because of GameSpot or because you don't think a DS game could ever deserve such a score?

[QUOTE="alphamale1989"] Yeah, but games age, and it's been 9 years.alphamale1989

The fact that it is a wii-make though means that they made no effort to modernize the game. They kept it the same way it was 9 years ago, so nothing except the new features should have affected the score.

So if they released super mario 64 with the controls of Galaxy would you give it a 9.8? NO! Cause the game is OLD OATS.

Super Metroid is 15 years old, but i'd rater higher than any of the Halo games, Gears of War games, Mario Galaxy, Resident Evil 4, etc... There are many old games out there that only show age with graphical limitations. Their excellent gameplay and overal design keep them recognised as some of the greatest games ever developed.

This 5 hours gameplay detail is being completely misinterpreted. So the main single player game lasts 5 hours. That doesn't mean you'll play this game for 5 hours and never touch it again. The game is designed around replay value, just like the many mulitplayer FPS titles out there. That and the concept of the game is so simple there's little point dragging out a story mode.

Is this game the same thing as the PSP versions of GTA? With the wifi multiplayer and somewhat repetitive missions.SoullessWraith
You should probably go look up some info on the games official website.

Shipping 100 million units and selling 100 million units are two completely different things. It's still yet to sell 100 million, though as we all know, it will reach this mark soon enough.

I thought it was a pretty good game. I loved the mode which simply involved you hacking and slashing down a corridor full of enemies, just to see how far you could get. Good memories!

Metroid Dread was a rumour with a bad title that Nintendo neither confirmed or denied, so it's likely they're just using the rumour to keep people talking about the franchise. However, I wouldn't mind a side-scrolling Metroid for the DS. As for the Wii however, a return to side-scrolling would just be a step backwards. I hope they find a new way of keeping things fresh. If we have to wait another 10 years then so be it. It's one of the most consistent gaming series ever. It'll always be worth the wait.

I'll usually play between 1-3 games at a time. I will rarely move on to a new game without completing one of those first. If I complete the game, i'll trying playing through again a while after to try and complete it 100%. If I fail to to complete it, it'll end up back in the shops for sale again.

As for how many games I beat last year, i'm looking at around 25-30 games. Most of them retro titles. Overall i'll spend a couple of hours per day playing video games.
