Either option would have tons of famous/well known sites to feature, and provide a huge change of pace from what we've seen previously while still setting it in the background of a (previously) industrialized country.
I'm not sure anywhere in the US is going to be much different then what we've already seen. For that matter, nowhere in North America besides Mexico would be much different. And there isn't as much of an industrailized infrastructure there to play to Fallout's strengths.
The V9999GT should fall a bit closer to the 7600GT albeit somewhat slower then it is the 7300GT, less memory but if your running primarily older games that shouldn't be much of a factor and the 7300GT isn't really fast enough to get playable frame rates at resolutions at which the 256MB would benefit it in any case.
Makes Battletoads seem like a breeze
Skies of Arcadia is quite good but not quite the amazing game it's hyped up to be and it's definitely dated. The GC version doesn't look substantially better then it did on the DreamCast. A nice option if you have some money but not an essential by any means.
Tales of Symphonia, if you like JRPG's (as you seem to) then it's extremely good. Well worth buying.
FFX11... I didn't care for it much, it seems to draw mixed opinions. A bit of a love/hate it. Quite a bit different then FFX which was terrific IMO. Personally I'd pass on it.
Suidoken 3 is extremely long, and cutomizable, very enjoyable on the whole but it does suffer from being 'more of the same' the further you get into it. I'd recommend it, but not as much as Symphonia. Not a must buy, but a very nice game.
Dragons Quest VIII.... very weak story, backed up by good combat system and an infinite amount of endless grinding. Fight 50 billion creatures to get slightly stronger and move on, rinse and repeat. I despised it. Some loved it. Depends how important story is, and how much patience you have for level grinding.
Games not mentioned that I'd suggest-
Persona 3 FES on the PS2.
Paper Mario: TTYD on the GC.
Likely going to be a love/hate it depending on what you're looking for in a game.
I would say that I play video games about 70 to 100 hours a week. I usually play more than 100 hours but I have to go to school so I have a limited playing time. :Dking_Rockhead
How is that possible?
You would have to average over 14hrs/day playing games.... so I'm assuming you basically do nothing at all besides sleep for a few hours a night and school?
Back onto the topic however. 0-10hrs usually.
10 is a rough peak, 0 in my usual on/off again way of gaming.
I liked the subject matter, and a decathlong game involving no button mashing and some legitimate forethough and strategy in your usage of stamina made up for what was admittedly a large number of flaws.
A pretty solid game, that far far exceeded the pathetic competition.
