It's between The Four Kings and Ornstein and Smough. I will go with The Four Kings because you can't kite them or beat them with thief build like you can with O&S. They are also the coolest looking and have some of the best design.

I don't know. I just whacked them to death. But then again I already owned Havel's set by then.

Especially when you have to fight one as a Giant skeleton fires arrows at you and a Black Knight enters the battle too

CJ_ofCamelot

A greataxe- wielding black knight. He fell into the chasm and died (in my case)

That just illustrates the problem with enemies in this game: they aren't very smart. :P

What a horrible story was he ok?

Well, I guess he's okay since I absorbed his soul for free.

[QUOTE="themajormayor"]Yeah those nopedogs or we they're called are the toughest enemies in the games. Much worse than any boss really.seanmcloughlin

[QUOTE="BPoole96"]Manus and the Two Chimera fight if you go back to the beginning of the DLC after killing Manuskickass1337
yup, the double santuary guardian(chimeras) encounter is the hardest fight in the game imo (even though it's not a boss fight) Guys , after killing artorias go back to where you fought the santuary guardian, trust me you don't want to miss out on all the fun :P

Thanks for the info, I really didn't know about it.

Worst boss fights in that game are definitely Pinwheel or Gywndolin. Gywndolin is just meh, and Pinwheel apparently I played too late.

BrunoBRS

Yeah you were pretty beefy against them then. I had to farm like a b!tch to bring up my endurance to carry heavier armor. havel's set FTW.

Also yeah Pinwheel is clearly the worst. You could beat him right at the start of the game. Gwyndolin is just annoying more than anything. That fvcking hallway.

gwyn is pretty lame but it makes sense for the story. Fallen warrior and all that

i had some serious trouble going through the catacombs before sen's fortress (because SOMEONE told me that getting the rite of kindling earlier was a good idea). then i got to pinwheel and mowed it down in less than a minute.

Honestly, the Tomb of Giant itself is a b**ch to navigate! I think it's harder than any boss in the game...

Never played the DLC, but Ornstein and Smough gave me the most grief my first time through. Them fellas or the 4 Kings.

tagyhag

What? The 4kings is a complete joke the first time through. I was actually disappointed at them when I could just win by spamming pyromancy spells.

Well Pyromancy IS easy mode. :P

That's the one thing they need to change in Dark Souls 2.

I keep watching and he just saying shit that is more and more stupid.

Jonwh18

But it's not due to religion. It's due to him being too paranoid, thus misinterpreting religion to justify his paranoia.

According to this guy.

Nintendo, therefore, is evil.

[QUOTE="BrunoBRS"] "having to put thought into it is gimmicky". you're pitiful, you know that?BrunoBRS

Shattering a crystal that will win you the battle is not a strategy.

Ornstein+Smough fight is what I call a fight that requires thought and reflexes.

shattering the crystal is what actually allows you to battle in the first place. it's just part of the lore, it's not gamebreaking, and it doesn't change the fight itself.

But...Seath is still easy.
