He talks like it has less features. Only difference is removing the 3D, which it seems most people turn off anyway. This thing will be more popular than the 3DS. Preordered one for my 10 yr old from Best Buy for his birthday in August.
@Rufus_the_rat: There is a new generation of gamers who, simultaneously, have never played a CoD game from the WWII era and who make up the majority of the player base. Combine that with the older gen CoD gamers who haven't had the opportunity to experience it on modern consoles with current graphics and technology. Yes, we got WWI with BF1 but CoD is a different type of game and there are millions who play and are beyond ready for CoD to return to its roots. It IS the right game at the right time. No, I'm not a fanboy, but they're right about this one.
@chiefwiggum16: they probably had 20 at launch but employees and their family and friends got them. Some retailers wouldn't allow it but GS is shady as ****. Nintendo does suck with their distribution though. Combine their short supply business practice with backroom deals and you're SOL.
And no word on pre-order through Microsoft...and presumably Sony. I know it could be pre-ordered through the game's website previously but until I see it in the MS store, I won't consider it. Honestly looks like a weekend rental anyway, tbh.
I've said $500 from the start and I still stand by it. Gives them room to offer a price cut a few months out. I do believe we'll see various bundles and I think it'll sell reasonably well this holiday...especially if BB and GameStop offer up those sweet trade in deals around Black Friday.
@Barighm: I had both but sold the PS4 after 3 months. It wasn't for lack of games, though. My multiplayer friends are on Xbox, I prefer their achievements system, install times are faster, the controller is more to my liking, I don't have to reinstall when switching from physical to digital, Gold Share isn't matched by Sony, and the list goes on.
