Looks great, sounds great, feels authentic...yet it never held my attention and I stopped playing it not long after release. What is it about this game that does so many things right, but it gets old so fast? I can't put my finger on it. People rave about Battlefield 1 and it will retain the majority of it's base for a very long time, so what is wrong with Battlefront? Apart from theme and some variations in the menu, don't they essentially play the same?
@wtf_666: I did. :) Giving my big black box X1 to my brother and picked up the Xbox One S 1TB BF1 Camo Green bundle w/ free 2nd controller from Best Buy to replace it. Grabbed the PS4 Slim Uncharted 4 bundle along w/ TLOU and the Uncharted Collection with the $30 gift card they threw in at Walmart. I'm an Xbox guy but wanted the PS4 for these and upcoming exclusives like Days Gone, Detroit: Become Human, and Spider-Man. PSN had DriveClub for $7.49 and I still plan on buying Until Dawn. Hoping I'll eventually get to all these games! Been playing TLOU for about 5 hours and love it so far.
@computernoises: I got it in my cart and got a message saying due to state regulations, it wasn't available for delivery or pickup in my area code. I live on the Florida Georgia border so I changed the zip and got the same message. Funny, I've ordered plenty of items through Walmart.com with no issue.
Great game, highly underrated from a sales perspective. Definitely still has potential for expanding customization in multiplayer, and sometimes the suits don't know as much as they think. This game would have benefited greatly from a spring release next year.
I look forward to progressing far enough to unlock some of this stuff. I've played 4-5 hrs and don't have the launch preorder DLC or the golden guns. I've installed all of it. Haven't found it at the safe house or in the menu wheel.
