Yeah... Not to mention HDMI support, stocked-internal HDD, 1080p support......??? and 360 had to play MAJOR catch up with just installing standard wif-fi on their system. just saying.

:lol: wow, somebody's bitter because their house-of-cards argument just fell apart. You STILL haven't provided the proof. The RROD itself is not in dispute. Only the idea that warranty's weren't used at all. Hell you can't even provide a logical case for why a majority of people would spend an excess of money rather than get their system repaired for FREE. I mean seriously, you would have us believe that everybody places no value on their money and could care less about a service plan that takes solves their problem.
So very sorry to disappoint you, but RROD is NOT proof of your claim. It remains the basis of said claim, but still no supporting evidence provided to that end. Which leaves us with the same impass - YOU and others are making this claim, that burden of proof rests solely on your shoulders. And of course we're asking for proof. You really think we're just going to take this on your word alone? Really now?
Oh and you say its the xbox fans who care most about the sales? You weren't here from 2006-2009 when the sony fans made quarterly threads about how the PS3 would "destroy" the 360 in the market. First it was supposed to happen as soon as it launched, then a year later and then, it was year after year of "just wait". Oh yes, the sony fans care very much about sales, make no mistake about that ;)
We can keep going around and around and around with this but, you can't deny RROD... Just because you nerds troll the internet 24/7 and knew about the extended warranty doesn't mean everyone else in the world knew about it... Yet, you and the rest of your little MS fan-nerd buddies keep trying to claim that everyone did; My claim of RROD is solid; Now, where's your claim that everyone knew about and used the extended warranty...Well, sine Microsoft is known for having over-heating systems that burn-out the CPU, I'm guessing Microsoft's next console would...!Assuming the progression of computer chips goes on . . . Which consoles CPU will cook food better?
The new Nintendo console, the new Sony console or the new Microsoft console?
Thanks! =D

Lol... That was a good one! Why? It's a lot cheaper. PS3 has the games so I have to keep buying them, 360 on the other hand has no games. So the 360 saves me money. Win win.

Well, well... Look at you mister angry internet writter; Don't beat me up...! But seriously, where's your proof, people didn't re-buy a new Xbox 360 because of RROD... Since we're all about proof these days, I wanna see proof showing that all 50(something) million Xbox 360 owners used the extended warranty for their RROD'ed 360... You see how that works??? I can show proof that RROD was real... But, you don't need me for that...! As far as the proof that people had to re-purchase a new 360, let's just say, maybe, everyone on the planet didn't know about the extended warranty... Let's just say, "by chance" I live in Chicago and that I literally know a lot of people that had to re-purchase "several" 360s because they didn't know about the extended warranty and/or their 360 wasn't within warrant range... Remember, Microsoft only went up to a certain time period with the warranty... I don't need proof to show you what I know, what you know, what your fellow MS fan-nerds know, and what the whole gaming community know... There's no point to it... Like I said before, you can deny it all you want but, it did happen and half those sales numbers are because of it...[QUOTE="RecklessTortuga"][QUOTE="delta3074"]show us proof that half of the 360's sales are due to RROD, oh that's right ,you can't, you can 'keep telling' people all day long, without proof what you are saying is a baseless assumption and nothing more, and last place is last place doesn't matter by how manyAdobeArtist
The Burden of Proof is on the people making a claim. Not on others to disprove it. That's the way it works.
Exactly!!! I agree completely... The one who makes the claim should provide the proof... So, where's Microsoft's proof that 50(something) million people purchased only "one" Xbox 360??? Because we all know, RROD took it's toll on a lot of people, right? ...Right???show us proof that half of the 360's sales are due to RROD, oh that's right ,you can't, you can 'keep telling' people all day long, without proof what you are saying is a baseless assumption and nothing more, and last place is last place doesn't matter by how manydelta3074Well, well...
