I've been there several times, I don't like it at all. I always find it funny how it's portrayed in TV and Films, where the vast majority of New Yorkers are white and everyone drives with no problems.
Maybe somewhere in Southern Spain, or Italy. I would also consider living in some part of southern california on the beach or San Francisco. Also, maybe, Hawaii.
