Skyrim is mechanically simple, although it might be overwhelming because of how expansive that game is.

It's an entry level GPU, I couldn't find any site that sells it anymore, but if you could get either the Ghz edition or the 270X both are a bit better.
For the same price/performance you can go with the GTX660 SuperClocked.
Entry level? Really?
Yes really, If you concider R7 240,250 or even the 260X as entry levels, you won't survive a year in gaming.
It all depends on what level of graphics you wish to play, how long (year, 2 years, 3 years) your GPU can run games on certain graphics level, which games you wish to play.
If you only wish it to run Quake Live or Diablo 2 LoD the R7 240 would be enough.
You can run Crysis 3 with a 270x at high details http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-r9-280x-r9-270x-r7-260x,3635-11.html. Thats not entry.

So you buy a current gen i7 and you wonder if it will bottleneck ANYTHING? Why are people so dumb?
hahahahahahahaha what
that feel when I correctly predicted the Seahawks winning the Super Bowl
It wasn't exactly an unpopular opinion.
Xbox 360 Wireless controller, and yes it works with PC
Way to go and avoid mentioning that it also requires a wireless controller adapter that can be hard to find and causes all sorts of compatibility problems because you need to manually install drivers to make it work. It's not worth it at all.
@PredatorRules: a 760 with 4GB is useless at 1080p and it's underpowered at 1440p.
I came up with this after about three days of researching:

I consider this expensive; I normally buy pretty low-end stuff. I think I'm going to pass on the PS4 and Xbox One. I have a ton of older systems, and I have a Wii U, which I love, but I want a machine that's going to get me through the next 2-3 years on, I guess, medium to high settings for standard big releases, and just anything that floats my way and catches my eye. I love indies, might even get Star Citizen ( I'll get more RAM if I need to).
See any conflicts, or just dumb choices? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Pretty solid rig, good job - smart move you went for the 4Gb version of the GTX760 if you're planning on more than 1 screen or 4k monitor.
If you're gonna go high end with your monitor(s) then you should go high end with your card aswell, 760 is a midrange card.
You can easily OC 760 to 770 standards. I didn't believe it until I did it myself. EVGA 760 is a solid GPU. ACX cooler handles OC very well!
And you can OC a 770 further up. I'm not bashing the 760, I'm saying a 770 with 2GB is clearly better than the 760 with 4GB.

It's pretty good GPU, you can run games at mixed graphics, the 4Gb edition makes good use for larger resolutions.
Tell me of 1 game that maxes out 2 GB, let alone 4. The only one that I can think of is Skyrim with a bunch of mods. You always wanna take raw power with a 770 over a potentially useful extra 2 GB of VRAM. The speed of the 760 will hold you back before its 2GB will.
