TC gave ME 1 a 6 & Jericho a 8.5. That there is enough to tell he must have hit every branch.

DeadMagazines

I wouldn't over analyze my ratings, if i play a game and i like it i rate it high. I'm not a professional critic you know.

then why are you trying to convince everyone that they should listen to you?

I'm not. But they shouldn't listen to people here to claim that ME2 is the Best game on any gen EVAH. I kind of forgot the point of this thread whilst trying to convince people i actually own the game.

And at least i ejoyed Jericho, it had six playable charaters, diverse combat and gruesome setting and inhumane bosses. Way more memorable than BLAND EFFECT.

Owned? How? Because I asked for proof because so far he didn't provide any?

I was never keen on downplaying this guy. I was merely asking for proof to see that he played the game.

But the fact that he merely brushed off important choices as 'I can't remember them' really leaves him a bit short on his part. ;)

MadVybz

There were no important choices. You tell me one. Just one choice that came back at you later in the game There were none.

Right. Because certainly a game like Mass Effect doesn't have ANY memorable moments, like where you had to choose between saving an entire race or being it's destroyer, which would then have an effect on how the galaxy sees you as a person.

Unlike most people here on SW, I own up when I haven't played a game, and I haven't played ME2 yet. But that has no relevance since you, TC, are the one who's making the flamebait claims and coming off as the guy who doesn't like ME2 so therefore no one else should.

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan. I'm not verbally skilled enough to exploit this situation so ill just keep quiet. But what i say is true. There are no difficult choices in ME2 except the one at the end. If you played it you would know that it's an endless collection of side quests that have no connection to the main plot at all.

[QUOTE="Revan_911"]

Whats this about me not playing the game? This crap again? Just because i don't like it im a troll and havent played it? Best defense of a game EVAH.

The character interaction in ME2 is exatcly the same as Kotor but as i said i cared about Kotor more. You talk to the character a few times and he gives you a mission. After you complete the mission he likes you more. The same thing as kotor right? Whats so different that you mock me and my opinion.

And no im no cow, i dont own a PS3 check my ratings and reviews not one involves any game on the PS3.

MadVybz

You could prove that you've played the game by using specific details.

Why not NAME a few characters, or some planets, or one of the choices you made that made a heavy influence later in the game? So far you've done nothing but talk about things that have been said in reviews.

[QUOTE="Revan_911"][QUOTE="Sollet"]While I agree it's not GAME OF DECADE etc or best game ever it is a really good game, I can agree with the GS score. It has some misses and flaws but IMO BioWare has really delivered this gen. Easily one of the best game this gen at least.Sollet

No just no! Whoever says that ME2 is the best anything has never played a bioware game before. I don't need this kids now coming to the forums saying that this was the most amazing experience ever because character interaction is done in every bioware game only this time the game is adapted for the masses with the whole shooter angle.

Oh and I said this GENERATION, Yer precious KOTOR is from LAST GEN. Learn to read dude.

I wasn't implying KOTOR. It's just a game that's very dear to me i wouldn't call it the best at anything. Here's my list of best gen games (opinion not fact) 1. The Witcher 2. Stalker SOC 3. GTA IV 4.MGS 4 5. Bioshock ME2 wont even make it in my top 50.

[QUOTE="smerlus"]I've played every single game Bioware has had to offer except for the Sonic the Hedgehog RPG and pretty much anyone can tell you that everytime Bioware puts out a game, they tweak the things they did in previous games and most some of the times they are better for it. In my opinion character interaction in ME2 is better than KOTOR's simply for the fact that in ME2 you don't have to cater to the light vs dark sides of the game. In Kotor, it behooved you to stay on one side during the game so that your character would be more powerful, this means that no matter what situation came up, the player was usually forced to pick good for a good character and bad for a bad character. In ME2 your character is given the freedom to make decisions on the fly and what may be ok in one situation may not be in another. Also you're free to 'adapt' to the other characters in the party. I could be totally nice to one and a total ass to another and those paragon/renegade points aren't really detrimental to my character progression. Also like someone else stated, just because KOTOR did it first doesn't mean ME2 is less because of it. you're forgetting the same thing could be said about KOTOR because The Baldur's Gates and NWN came out well before that game..

In ME2 the game limited me to only being black or white because of the paragon/regenarade dialogue choices. Jack got angry at me and i didn't have enough points because hey i like to add some three dimensionality to my character because i don't want to play cardboard cutout. In Kotor if you are light/dark you only get stats bonus. You can spent your game being bad and still have the good ending. Yes some characters will hate you for it, but that only proves that you cant impress everybody, because all characters are different. In ME2 Regenerade = Evil, Paragon = Good, there wasnt more meaning to it.
