[QUOTE="Revan_911"][QUOTE="Shattered007"] Well, in that case you might like ME2 then...it's more streamline shooter this time around. And there are some pretty cool stuff to do to enemies. Simple tweaks like Inpact Animations, really add a new element. Then you have some crazy bullets that can make your enemies have a closed casket. There's a lot (lot) more combat this time around. It actually feel a lot like Gears of War. They could've got away with mutiplayer if they wanted to.jasonharris48

Yes but it never gets good as gears of war.

Why would it? Does wasn't the aim Bioware was going for. Even with the improved TPS like combat it is still an action RPG title and NOT a TPS.

I kind of failed to see the RPG elements. Games like Prototype or GTA SA feel more RPGish. No inventory, 2-4 powers and most of them are bullet mods, no stat system, about 10 items in the entire game. Sorry i like my RPGS with some dept in them.

This guy made another topic complaining about how the game is boring and there's too much talking, he's just one of those ADD Halo kids who can't go 2 minutes without having to shoot something.

ThatGuyFromB4

No actually. If a dialogue has any meaning i would gladly listen to it. I didn't find any meaning in ME2 sorry. All these characters are two dimensional **** I liked some ofcourse but most of them were pretty pointless and a waste of my time. You would think with so many of them there would be variety combat, but no because almost all of them have the same power , and some of them like Legion and Taly and completely identical.

[QUOTE="Shattered007"] Well, if you didn't like the first one this night not change your mind but for 2 million others, I'm sure they are having the emotional ride of their life (for a videogame).Shattered007

i tried to love ME1. beat it 2 times both renegade and paragon. the story is amazing but gameplay is the boring part. even the side missions and planets. Its too easy even in veteran. Specially with my garrus and t'soni combo. So im still waiting to see some feedbacks from those who truly played the game before purchasing my copy of the game. :P

This is like the 5th thread you made hating on ME? Obsessive much? i mean seriously, im sure you have other games to play instead of actually complaining about a game you never liked to start with. Why people get so obsessive on hating game is beyond me. Dante2710
Hey i spent 50$ on this thing, complaining about it makes me feel better about myself.

I have no idea what you are talking about when you say that the shooting does not compare to other shooters these days. ME2 is actually much better then the majority of third person shooters out their. Mainly because the large depth, great boss fights, and RPG elements all make it fantastic.

THIS is what Mass Effect should have been in the first place.

JangoWuzHere
No it's not better than the majority of shooters. No large debt to be seen here sorry, every level is a linear level with a couple of explosives barrels "strategically" placed and the occasional stand in which you defend a position for a couple of minutes. I don't remember any boss fights, except the giant bug on the Krogan planet and the last boss, and there no real strategy involved you just shoot at them and they die.

Yeah, This AAA title should be missed...especially considering the fact that it might be the most advanced interative and personal game of all time as far as story.

Shattered007
Character interaction was done in Kotor and it was done better, sorry.

I don't really know what's so good about this game. The shooting is better than the first but it can't match up with some other third person shooters out there. I really can't grasp it was it the interaction with the party members because in KOTOR it was done so much better and much more natural. That's what you do in this game. Shoot, talk to party members, shoot some more, scan planets with some sort of minigame which ceases to be interesting in the first 10 seconds. I would rate it 7/10. Wish i didn't spend money on this game.

[QUOTE="Revan_911"][QUOTE="Vaasman"]If people just ignore this guy, he will get bored and go away, I'm sure of it.

Verge_6

What you mean? This is the first game i bought full priced that completely disappointing me. There's no main storyline, it consists of doing random chores for uninteresting party members like reuniting them with their family or whatever

I'm sure you did. Are we going to have to hand-feed you everything again so you can explain why you hated it? Seriously though, maybe if you hadn't been so dead set on hating the entire ME franchise from the start, people would actually look at your complaints with a serious outlook.

I'm not hating any franchise i was just annoyed by people who claimed that ME had the best epic story in a franchise ever which was farther away from the truth as it can be. And ME2, barely has any story for you to call epic, i guess if your impressed by flashy music and motion capture cutscenes, you may call it epic, but if not you can see how over the top and silly it is.

Yes I said it and Yes I mean it. By the way I do own all 3 consoles and have played every single worthwhile game on each platform. I'm a gamefly member and play everything.

Simply a phenomimal game and one that gives you real incentive for multiple playthroughs. Every aspect you want in a game it has.
