what does it mean when a girl says your cute does it just mean that or hot or shes attracted to you? im saying this because on the outside we may call a girl cute but on the inside we could find them very attractive?dragonmaster64

It generally means that she plans on murdering you. Not now, but in a few years after she tells you you're cute. I reccomend moving far, far away. It's not too expensive to legally change your name.

it does even it out.

you seem to think that the people in the military are just going to mind numbingly follow government orders during a rebellion. you seem to underestimate how guerilla tactis work against large scale military. You said you're in the military right? have you even fought? Im starting to think you're a cook or something because if you were in iraq you'd realize its a serious threat.

You can continue if you want, it dosent make a difference. In a rebellion, you dont go after the military either you go after the leaders and at that point its not about who has the biggest guns its not like you would be trying to shoot handguns at tanks for christs sake. is that what you thought? please answer that because I want to see your actual train of thought derail.

H8sMikeMoore

Guerilla tactics, lmfao. This isn't the revolutionary war, dude. Our military uses and teaches Guerilla Tactics with just about every special forces branch under the sun. As for claiming I'm a cook, I'll ignore that and report it. *done*

So you assume that the general public, armed with whatever weapons they can salvage, can gather the intel with what little resources they have to locate key leadership, eliminate it, and expect the entire government to crumble as a result of this? (the military rank structure is designed just for this purpose, if the highest ranking gets killed, the next in line takes over) And next to strategy, war is pretty much about who has the biggest guns and the biggest boom. I'm sure you like to watch movies and play a lot of video games, but that's not real life.

you're simply reporting it because you realize you dont have much of a real argument

iraq is guerilla, no guns and look. if it was so easy, wed be out of there already

no it isnt about the biggest gun. its about smarts. and thats how we have this country in the first place the british army wasnt as smart but they had much bigger guns

i dont watch movies or play video games emeril

Yes, Iraq is Guerilla and the only reason we're not out of there is because not everyone in Iraq is guilty, so we have to act more like police officers than soldiers and try to discern the good guys from the bad. If it was a traditional war, it would have been over a long time ago.

you don't watch movies or play games? Are you Amish?

And, if I didn't have an argument, you wouldn't still be posting back at me every 2 seconds :P

not everyone would be guilty in a rebellion either. duh

no im not amish.

i never let anyone get the last word. thats why im popular. :)

Well, I'll let you have the last word only because, judging by your username, we share a common enemy :)

I am not saying that there is one large conspiracy. I am just saying that if you take guns out of the hands of the people, people will take advantage of it. We lose yet another safeguard against tyranny.

Once we lose the ability to make the government accountable for its actions, we lose our freedom.

H8sMikeMoore

I'm still not getting how we make the government accountable for it's actions by possessing handguns. Many of the countries that don't allow the firearms we do aren't having a huge problem with governments. And look at Africa, they have loads of guns and their government is... well... I don't even know the word for it.

That is because their governments lacks stability. They lack a constitution in which their government must abide and which the people accept. I can imagine their government to be less "fair" because they lack safeguards that protect people. Just because people have guns doesn't mean that it is a good government; there are many other safeguards to protect from tyranny as well.

Exactly. I'm getting tired of people trying to say that having guns is somehow protection from the big bad evil government.

its not garunteed protection, its just something that evens it out. Politicians really wouldnt want an active rebellion going on in this country because its gonna be their lives, not the military's.

having a gun is a lot like having a body guard in an unsafe area. sure its a good idea, but does it always work? no. but its certainly better than not having anything.

It doesn't even anything out. Read this formula:

Handguns, Rifles, Shotguns Vs Artillery, Tanks, Uparmorerd HMMV's, M240B Machine Guns, Missles, Rocket Launchers, Aircraft, Gun Ships, Bombs, Mines... shall I continue?

As for it being a "body guard," the only reason that it's "better than not having one" is because EVERYONE has a gun.

Supporting the soldiers currently fighting has nothing to do with supporting the war. The soldiers over there are following orders, nothing more and nothing less. It's about supporting our servicemembers. Why is this such a difficult concept for you?

THE_DRUGGIE

I guess I'm not all here. Drowziness is getting the better of me today and I tend to get easliy confused when that happens.

Sorry about all that.

lol it's okay, it hapens.

[QUOTE="THE_DRUGGIE"]Okay, so is this about people who support the war in Iraq or those who are against it?THE_DRUGGIE

It has nothing to do with the war, it has to do with supporting the troops.

Well, I'm not exactly sure what that means...

...are you serious? There's no hidden meaning there. It's for people that support the young men and women that are in the military, the people that sign up and lay down their life for freedom.

So then it would be about the ones currently fighting, which would then mean it's about supporting the war. Unless if by supporting, you mean that you want them home so they can be with their families, thus making it about being against the war.

Or is this like some Veteran's Day type of deal where its about anyone who served in the military at any time, period?

Supporting the soldiers currently fighting has nothing to do with supporting the war. The soldiers over there are following orders, nothing more and nothing less. It's about supporting our servicemembers. Why is this such a difficult concept for you?

I was in the mood for a burger so I went to Wendy's. I get home, turn on the TV, ready to eat my nice burger from Wendy's and theirs a damn chicken sandwich inside. How damn dumb are these people? I say it perfectly clear so their little minds can comprehend me and they always get the order wrong. This is the third straight time I've gotten fast food where they've messed up. And it's not always the foreign people who don't speak English, the people who speak English there are as the ones who don't. If there was some way to determine the percentage of people who got the wrong order at a fast food drive thru I swear it would be well over 60%. These people always mess up, just as dumbtheir(your flawless grammer is testament to YOUR obvious intelligence) complete idiots who don't even deserve their $8.00 an hour.MM87

I really don't even need to point out how much of an arrogant idiot you sound like, considering I highlited the parts of your post that said that for me. But, I'm bored, so I'll point it out anyway.

I LOVE how you generalize every person who works in the fast food industry by your select few experiences. This is a clas.sic case of why people are racist, why people hate cops, and why people hate the military. You've really outdone yourself here.

Most of these kids who work fast food are just High School students, trying to save some cash for a down payment on a car or a little savings for college. They're swamped with customers every day, and have to deal with the rudest most arrogant people you can imagine on a regular basis (yourself included).

I'm so sorry that you were sitting on your ass watching TV while the kids who made the HORRIBLE UNFORGIVABLE mistake were still at work. Have you ever made a mistake? I thought so.
