One of the many dumb things I've done:
I've never taken Chemistry in High School, I took some easy science classes instead to get the credits. This dude I knew gave me a few pieces of thin metal. He told me that they were 'Magnesium Strips." He said that they glow white when you put a flame to them, and said it looked cool.
I pocked the strips, and pretty much forgot about them. When I got home from school, I found them in my pocket. Taking my lighter (unfortunately, I was STILL a smoker back then) I put the flame to the strip. The thing went off like a sparkler. It startled me, and I accidentally dropped it- right into the garbage can in my room that happened to be filled with newspaper.
The bonfire in my room took some explaining to the parents. =P

Not really, it all depends on management (same holds true for most jobs). My fiance' works there and likes it. It's not a career job (obviously) but it's good for some quick, easy cash.
Not really what? Everyone knows that working for the bs corporation that is Gamestop is awful. Your fiance should be working somewhere a bit more dignifying.
Dignifying? She's working 60 hours a week at Gamestop + another job to save for our marriage, which is great. The employment rate in her city is terrible, Gamestop's one of the few places she could get a job, and she loves the management. They're really good to her.

blooddemon666now a days (even though I hate that term) its easy to bounce, even from a marriage :|
Unfortunately, that's true. However, it's much more difficult when you're married as opposed to just 'dating'
[QUOTE="RiSkyBiZ-13"][QUOTE="gameguy6700"]the logical thing to do before any marriage these days with the rate of failed marriages. People need to drop the romantic bull**** and think logically. It makes sense the woman isn't going to be thrilled about a pre-nup, women always benefit from divorce laws. If anything, a woman who refuses to make a pre-nup is a woman you should refuse to marry.

Well put. I'm getting married in 2 months, a pre-nup's been signed.
Personally. i don't see the point in marrage, other than the tax benefits.beyond that, they're pointless. its only a religious ceremony perepetuated through humanity. Why can't people just love on another unconditionally, why do they have to go through this extravogant ritual of marrage.
I thought we were kinda beyond these archaic arts by now. but w/e what ever way you can "profess your love to another" all the more power to you.
but don't cry to me when she leaves with half of your stuff
You'll realize when you're in love, and when you're older (I used to have the same view as you, a few years back). If you don't get married, and you just "love eachother" and live together, you're essentially taking advantage of the woman. You're basically saying "Why buy the cow when you get the milk for free?" The woman has no reassurance that you plan on a life long commitment with her. You're free to bounce whenever you feel like it. That's not right.
