Well Nintendo's exclusives tend to be much more vaired and of higher quality than Xbox. Halo is boring now, Gears is good but not worth buying a 360 for. Only 360 exclusives that I like are Gears, Witcher 2, and Mass Effect 1. Everything else is meh to me and you can find a better alterntative on PS3.

I too enjoy Gears, the Witcher and ME. I love Halo personally. I would take Halo over Killzone or Resistance (this series is EXTREMELY generic to me). I really like Heavy Rain, Uncharted, and Infamous though.

[QUOTE="RobbRipken"]

Okay, every single day there's about twelve new threads making the same argument. It seems nobody on system wars has anything useful to say anymore. However, I'd like to raise this question...

Why doesn't anyone ever talk about the Wii, or the Wii U?

The Xbox 360 has had a big AAA blockbuster game each year (most years having one that gets 9.5). Since October of 2010, the Wii has seen Skyward Sword (one of the biggest flops in SW History), and....ummmmm....Well at least the Wii U has a great launch lineup, right?

Bottom line, I agree with you if you say that the PS3 is the best console if looking strictly at exclusives, and I think Sony deserves a great deal of credit for investing in new IPs. I just don't understand why everyone seems to want to give Nintendo (one of the laziest, and IMO most overrated developers in gaming today) a break.

Discuss.

I am going to assume this is a nintendo hate thread? If so then why is Super mario galaxy 2 the best game this gen?

I thought Super Mario Galaxy 1 was WAY better than 2. The first one is actually one of my favorite games. But if you look at everything else Nintendo does though outside of their core Mario games, I think they're lazy. NSMB, they're charging you full price for a game that has the production values of most $15 xbox live arcade games at this point. Zelda...didn't have voicework (I know, "Zelda wouldn't work with voicework"), but they didn't even have fully orcestrated music in the game. They're still using largely midi files, and they rely on boring fetch quests constantly. The rest of their games are mostly side scrolling platformers...

You can trace it all back to 2009, when Ms decided to drop core and go casual with Kinect(lol). After Reach came out in 2010, it was almost a *year* for the next retail exclusive to come out. That's sad. Heil68

I couldn't agree with you more. The argument I'm making is that at least when M$ did that, they followed it up by coming out with Gears of War 3 (9.5)...In 2008, after Smash Bros came out...you had to wait until pretty much May of 2010 for SMG2 (which did get a 10 to be fair)...but that's TWO years without a decent game. So by your words, that's SAD.

I don't care about defending Microsoft, I'm just saying that in my mind, Nintendo is worse.

Oh and btw...Kinect Sesame Street...

Didn't that get the same review score as Uncharted did on gamespot...and didn't that also get a better review than Infamous 2? Huh...and Xbox's exclusives are mediocre! :-P

I'm sorry...I couldn't resist.

"Bu bu but! I love teh Playstation! Teh Resistance is better tan Halo!"

tenaka2

Let me bottom line it for you, M$ is too dependant on it's main titles, and Sony does a good job of coming up with new IPs. However, Nintendo has the worst online, the worst production values, and hasn't come up with anything new in years. You can misquote me all you want, it doesn't change the fact that I brought up a good point, and all you can say "Xbox has no good exclusives!" Tells me everything that I need to know about you...

1. Halo (any of them)

2. Kameo

3. Mario Galaxy

4. Shadow of the Colossus

5. World of Warcraft

6. Skyrim

7. Uncharted 2

8. Mass Effect 2

9. The Wind Waker

10. Fable (any of them really, but I like the first the best)

11. Bioshock

12. Metal Gear Solid 3/4

13. Alan Wake

14. Smash Bros Brawl

15. Star Fox Adventures

I didn't want to repeat games from the same series.

If you have a 3DS, I'd probably say try out Ocarina of Time. If you don't have a 3DS, but have a Wii/GC, check out either the Wind Waker (probably the best one to start with, as it's easier than the others, and has a lot of charm in it's visuals), or Twilight Princess. TP is a really long, epic adventure. I personally would suggest that you just skip Skyward Sword completely, as for me it was by far the weakest game IMO (I would go so far as to say it's a weak game in general, not just going by the standards of the series).

I played mass effect 1 and 2. I have them saved on my old xbox. I recently got a new 360, and wanted to move that onto that hard drive. I tried to transfer that content using a usb drive, but it says it's unable to copy that data to my usb. Anybody have any suggestions?

When Skyward Sword was reviewed with a 7.5, everyone attacked the review. The argument that a few people used was essentially "wait until you play it before you decide what you think!" I'm just curious to know, now that most of you have played it, what did you end up thinking of it? I am about to start playing it, so no spoilers please! What do you agree/disagree with about the review score? What do you like and dislike about it? I'm just curious, and haven't seen much about the game lately.
