I don't think that's necessarily and good thing Palmer. To imply that there is a big enough difference between them that they won't really be competing for the same customers is a pretty damaging thought process. They aren't going to have any hugely superior exclusive games. I have a high end PC, I don't own a console and I'm leaning towards SonyVR at the moment. I wouldn't be the only one. Rift may be niching itself a little too much. He's right in saying that overwhelmingly people won't be going out and buying $1500-$2000 worth of hardware to play with the Rift. But will people spend $900 to get a PS4 + SonyVR + a game or two? Probably.
