[QUOTE="Roguey000"]DVI is fine, its basically HDMI without sound, however HDCP support is important. You should be able to find some mention about this in your manual or at-least the net. I would check the manual first, as normally its more accurate. If the monitor is HDCP compatible (which it should be) then your need a HDMI -> DVI cable (or you can use HDMI -> HDMI + Adopter) - I have HDMI to DVI cable on my downstairs PS3 and it works fine. Once you get that sorted, then you will need to get some kind-of sound output. This can be got from PS3's optical or multi-jack to some kind-of speaker. I'm guessing your monitor doesnt have any speaker built into it?WasacreOL
So, I need to buy a HDMI to DVI and a HDMI? I'm confused. And yes, my monitor has no built in speakers. :(
Nope :P You will need: HDMI to DVI cable (for the picture), Some kind-of sound cable to a pair of speakers (for sound), Its just that HDMI does both in one cable but DVI needs two.
