@sladakrobot: Perhaps you should listen to interviews that Microsoft execs have given since E3, they have stated that games will likely be released on the Scorpio that wont work on the other machines, they went from none of the Xone family of consoles(meaning Xone, Xone slim and Scorpio) will be left behind, to if developers want to release games on the scorpio that wont work on the other systems thats fine.

So yes the life of the Xone original and Xone slim will be shorter, if developers make games that only work on the Scorpio.

This might be fine for Microsoft and even Sony, but software developers are just getting into their stride and improving the games they release just for a new system to be dumped in their laps, all i can see is it killing any innovation in game development, they will just get one of the longer production time games ready for release and it will fail because its graphics are outdated because of the new system, so they wont take that kind of risk again, just yearly releases like EA sport games and Assassins greed.

@Lord_Sesshy: yeh they come up with their own ideas, its just them saying its nothing to do with falling behind the PS4, MS has spent this entire gen saying one thing then changing direction, makes it hard to believe anything they say.

@Tangsta03: Diablo has never changed its direction, its was always about leveling and then farming bosses for loot to improve the damage you can do, so you can kill the same bosses on a higher skill level, then repeat, only difference on D3 they added more skill levels so you can repeat and repeat for 10 times longer, and give other things to farm, instead of D2 and just doing Baal runs.

@Tangsta03: The entire point of Diablo games is finding loot, the story and lore is something to making getting to max level interesting, because the loot at lower levels is pointless as it only helps for a couple of levels.
