The Battlefield franchise is one of the most boring games of all time.

I remember me and my friends going and playing BC2 for the first time (at the game's release) (PC).

Only one of us remotely liked the game.

The rest agreed that it was too slow, too boring, no feeling, horrible gameplay and campy.

We switched back to MW2 after (literally) 3-4 games of BC2.

Too early, and most importantly too lame of a thread for the biggest game of all time.

To everybody saying not to worry, and that it will sell in the long run:

it's time to worry. If a FPS game doesn't sell well initially in the U.S., on consoles, then something is very wrong.

Just Cause 2.

JC2 is a fun game you enjoy for like 2 hours, its freedom and possibilites. Then, it eventually becomes boring.

COD is a game you put hundreds of hours in.

You could have come up with a much better choice than JC2.

I'm not sure if that's true, though.

I've heard that Resistance 3 tries a lot to be like COD, though ironically, its best moments, is when it's not like COD and they're doing their own thing (not too much of it, apparently).

Gears 2 was also released in November 2008, and managed 1.5 million. Yet, Resistance 2 did (marginally) better than its sequel.
