Piracy has been around long before MW2 was ever released. Not much has really happened (apart from some devs using new forms of DRM).

Don't pretend piracy hasn't grown to an astronomical level lately. Because it should worry any developer into PC gaming.

It's the entire franchise that grossed $1 billion.

Gears 3, while being successful, will never hit that by itself.

It's only possible for a COD game to reach $1 billion in retail sales.

People don't play CoD on ps3 at all, and madden/sports games don't play well on playstation.

Wow... You know nothing about the PSN community. CoD is, by far, the most actively played franchise on PS3.

So in order to get it, you need to just play... Not difficult, but rather boring.

MHC is all about difficulty, and not about just playing it like an idiot over and over again.

You do know BO is the best-selling PS3 game of all time, right?

MW3 will follow those footsteps, and the Top 2 best-selling games in the history of the PS3 platform will consist of CoD games.

So PS3 gamers buy shooters, too. Just saying.

Black Ops is the best-selling game of all time in all of Europe (dollar-wise), so don't expect this one to under-perform in Europe.

Of all time? I think those wii fits and sports sold a lot more.

Wii Sports may have done differently, as it were bundled. Wii Fit came nowhere close. However, it sold very well in the Asian market, so it evens out.
