Ok well I know it was a little late and I was inactive but my school year is finally over and summer has started :D Time to kick bakc, relax and play games till 3 A.M. 8) I will try to be more active now since I am not busy anymore :) Anyway, I got a new WiiWare game, Dr. Mario Rx. I like it a lot, it is classic Tetris and more.

Anyway, in other news, check out this game I just heard about called Deadly Creatures. It has a great atmosphere. You can play as a scorpion or tarantula in the west, ecountering colossal humans and deadly pests. The IGN preview is here and I can assure you it is probably the best 3rd party game in terms of graphics currently, IMO.

Well, it is that time of the year and finals are next week :( So that pretty much means no Gamespot for the entire week while I cram to my hearst content. This is the reason I havent been posting in blogs lately so please don't mind. Finals are 10% of your grade so I need to do well. Im going to try to get an A+ on all of them starting with Electrical Engineering on Monday :o

So if you guys missed it, Capcom made an announcement about a new Wii game that they will be releasing. The game is called Spyborgs and it is suppose to have the look and feel of a Saturday morning cartoon show. It looks pretty interesting currently. It is being created by people from Insomniac who have worked on Resistance: FOM and R&C: Tools Of Destruction. That is a pretty nice Dev team right there :D

Well more information on the game is that the Spyborgs are a team of super heroes, each with their own unique abilities. The game is designed for local co-op play. Currently not that much is known but there is a teaser trailer.

To even further get the feeling of a Saturday Morning Cartoon show, there will be "advertisements" which are like minigames. That sounded like a pretty fun aspect. Also the game seems kid oriented but the jokes are pretty mature, soem that we have come to expect from games like R&C and Jak & Daxter. When this was announced many Wii owners were actually mad that we didn't get RE5 or anything like that. People open your eyes, this is being made by a quality dev team. Even the Vice President of Capcom responded by saying "Have faith". You need to relax that 3rd party companies are giving the Wii a chance. Keep an eye on this, ithas potential.

In other news Lego Indiana Jones recieved an 8/10 from gamespot on Wii, 360 and PS3 :D They say it is the best Lego game yet and I am tempted to check it out. Here are some screens. Looking pretty good.

Ok so like everyone else, I heard about the Dr. Mario demo. Apparently you need to exchange codes for your Wii and a person with the game sends it to you! If anyone would be so kind enough to do that just leave your code here and send me the demo, thank you....

First off I would like to aplogize to everyone who has been coming to my blog since I have not been going to yours. I have been extra busy and lazy so I did not have much time to blog or comment.

The online is by far THE BEST online for any game of its kind on ANY console. By brother's Birthday was a few days ago on May 2 so my parents got him a Black Nintendo DS Lite. It was quite a shock and very undprecedented but also very welcomed in our game collection. My parents got him New Super Mario Bros. (Great Game) and Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games (Average). Im liking it for now since he lets me play it but i don't have much knowlesge on some good DS games besides Gamespts review so please recommend a few games. This is also a great oppurtunity to try out the new Nintendo Channel for DS demos :D

Well I was in for a surprise as I got home from school. My parents got me Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core and MK:Wii since I got mostly A's and a few B's on the report card! So first of all I was so happy. So I started playing MK:Wii first.

Mario Kart Wii Impressions

Currently I just started to get use to the Wii Wheel but I am liking it very much. Haven't unlocked many characters yet as I was just playing split screen multi-player with my bro. Its really very fun. I have tried 50cc, 100cc, and 150cc. They are fairly well balanced except 150cc which can be brutal at many times. I take it as a challenge. I havent started at all with the online will not be doing so until I am really use to the Wii Wheel and unlock all chracters and cups. So please dont ask until I make a blog about the Friend Code...

Crisis Core Impressions

I really like this game. I am no huge fan of Final Fantasy but I seem to really enjoy this release. The controls work perfectly on the PSP and the story is interesting. However I plan to finish MK:Wii before I really get deeply involved in this game. However it is excellent so far.

So I was interested in WiiWare lately, mainly because I have 2000 Wii points and nothing to buy with them, when I came across a game that looked really interestting. Its called 'Lost Winds'

Basically, Lost Winds is a platformer for the Wii currently in production and will be released in Wii Ware. It lets the player take control of a wind spirit using movement from the Wiimote. You have to guide a boy using the Wind Spirit and take him on a quest to lift and evil curse.

Seems pretty interesting to me. If you wanna check out a gameplay video here it is...

Yes, I finally completed level 20 here on gamespot. It took around 2 months but I made it and I am now level 21 Rescue Ranger :D
